Blu-Ray Deals - Save Receipts
Blue-Ray Owners
Save your receipts. As you can see BLUE-RAY, Retail Stores and Websites are actively pushing this media and every week they have different deals. (2 for $20) or (Buy One Get One Free). It's important that if you overpaid, you get your money back. I did this and today I saved.
I bought 4 movies today for Under $30 dollars from Retail Stores. I did this because I had receipts. Here is what I did.
I went to Best Buy where they have (Buy One get One Free). I purchased Gone in 60 seconds and Deja Vu. I also purchased SWAT which was on sale for $14.99.
The Total came to $48.34 with TAX.
I noticed that they had Black Hawk Down and XXX for $14.99. Well I bought these for $24.99 from the same store 3 weeks ago.
I went to the Car and looked for Receipts. I found 2 receipts. One with those movies and one from Circuit City for Enemy of The State that I paid for $29.99 2 weeks ago.
I went back to Best Buy and got my price match for XXX and Black Hawk Down and I got $21.74 back. So now for 3 movies I paid around 28 bucks.
I picked up King Arthur and Enemy of the State as part of Buy One Get One Free. I paid $29.99 plus tax and went across the street to Circuit City.
I peeled of the Best Buy sticker on EOTS and Took my receipt from 2 weeks ago and returned the movie.
So I ended up with 4 movies for $28 bucks.
Like I said Save your receipts for as long as you can. The only receipts I have now that I stored is the one where I bought "Day After Tomorrow". for the awful FOX price of $34.99. I'm just waiting to see if they have a special on this coming up soon.
I also picked up "Patriot", "Few Good Men" and "Tears of the Sun" from FRYS.COM for $9.99 each.
That is 7 movies for around $60 dollars.
And Who says the BLUE-RAY is EXPENSIVE!!!

I know you mean good, but this really is kinda unneccesary. Instead of typing that whole long story, you could've simply said that if anything you buy goes on sale within the return policy, they can return the difference. Most people know about this anyways, and even if you don't save your receipt, most places can look it up if you paid with plastic or check.
Thanks though, not trying to be a jerk.

And your math gets somewhat creative midway through the process. You claim that you paid $48.34 for 3 movies, pricematched a purchase from 3 weeks past to recoup $21.74, and, by doing so, reduced the cost of those 3 movies to "around $28 bucks". Not entirely true, but your overall point is a good one... pricematch whenever possible! Especially when you know it is going on sale somewhere else next week! Buy it now, then PM next week for the extra 10%!
