I went to the local MovieStop (Macon, GA) this evening and there were a couple of sales going on. The sales were "Manager's Specials" but I suspect that they may be chain-wide.
The first was a 50% off sale on selected horror titles. Most, if not all of the titles were Anchor Bay. I picked up:
The Wicker Man 2-disc CE - $8.00
Dawn Of The Dead Divimax - $5.00
Day Of The Dead Divimax Special Edition - $7.50
Phantasm - $7.50
The Hills Have Eyes - $5.00
Re-Animator Limited Edition - $10.00
They had a number of other titles of which I remember a few:the single disc versions of The Wicker Man, the single disc version of Suspiria, and a number of different versions of Halloween. I realize that several of these titles can be found for slightly less online, but it still seems to be a good deal.
There was also a BOGO sale on selected Blu-Ray titles. I believe there were 20-30 different titles. The only ones I remember were one of the POTC movies and Dinosaur (Disney).
