If the first thing Kara does when meeting Lana is step on her, sending her into the earth's core, I will think she is the greatest character ever.
Until then, I'm very "meh" on Supergirl. This doesn't sound like a promising start to her regular status.
We shall see I suppose.

Kara was pretty careless in showing off super-speed in front of Lana.
Not sure if I can handle the happy Clana couple, so I predict some bumps in their relationship road.
Lex finally finds his angel, but what will his suspicions bring onto the Kent Kousins?
Funny to see Chloe's reaction to Jimmy looking longingly at Kara.
The freaks of the week were practically an after-thought, but I like how Kara dealt with them, took no prisoners.

I was expecting this to be really horrible but it wasn't that horrible.
The beginning with all the g'damn soapy music was annoying but the second half was really great, esp. with Lex at the end.

Pretty good episode. I like Clark being around Kara and having to be 'Jonathan' now. Also, Lex finding Kara and sniffing around Clark again should be interesting.
What about 'The Third Kryptonian' arc started tonight? I wonder where that is going.

Ok, so after the "Weather Girls" asked Kara to join and after the show came back from commercial it seems like they hit Fast Forward and rushed the resolution in what I call "Star Trek:TNG style" . I still enjoyed the ep and the actress playing Kara is growing on me big time, but damn I hate when tv shows rush shit like this.
I do like how Kara is challenging Clark and forcing him to think past today and Smallville.
Question: In this show is the, for lack of better phrase, "Superman symbol" just a generic Kryptonian symbol? I always thought it was the official family symbol for the House of El? I know that recently in the comics, and I guess they hit on this in tonight's ep, the upside down "Superman symbol" is sort of an "SOS" or call for help.

Not great, but a good episode. Kara is of course smokin'
Liked the part with the picture of the gold and that kryptonian necklace hanging in the picture.

Supergirl in Bikini competition = drool. For some reason I just really wanted Clark to smack Lana straight through the barn when she showed up again.

Very good episode! I especially like the relationship between Kara and Clark. It is interesting to see the dynamic between them and her taking on his role, while he takes on the role of his parents. Ironic I suppose that she will have to reconvince him that Smallville is not where he belongs.
Lana certainly wasn't annoying, but I think both her and Lex are better when they stick to their original roles. Lana is more annoying when she gets all quite around Lex after she thinks she has been sly (although she was with the whole death bit), and Lex is annoying when he's being fake nice. However, that is not the same as him actually being nice - which is not annoying.
I'm definitely looking forward to more. Also, while I don't find her annoying, I am saddened by the change in Chloe this year. So far she is acting really timid, and is a shadow of her former self over the past 2 years.

The scenes with Clark and Lana for the first time in quite a while did not bother me. I actually enjoyed them. I am getting a big kick out of seeing Clark in the "Jonathon Kent" role.
Kara "Does this mean you're going to stop telling me what to do?"
Clark "Probably not"
Lex was really laying on the creepy vibe during that last scene with Kara.
And speaking of Kara....she can walk down my staircase in a bikini anytime!!
Take care all!
