Another great episode. I love the dialogue on this show and the chuck flashback was funny. I also loved the moment with the rotating platform and the pie - funny stuff. Has now become my #1 new show.

Yup I thought this episode was even better than the pilot. Just gorgeous! I was smiling throughout the entire show. The actress playing Olive has an amazing voice.

I also enjoyed this episode more than the pilot. Good show. Good cast. And I don't really care if it's a ripoff of Amelie. There are worse things that a show could be derivative of.

Hmmmm...this episode killed my theory of how there might be a rule of how it is determined who dies if he doesn't touch the resurrected after one minute.

(My theory was, as detailed in last week's thread, that the last person who came in contact with the deceased were the ones to buy the farm if the resurrected stayed alive. It really seemed to be holding up quite well...until all those birds fell out of the tree. I would imagine the teacher was the last one to touch the frogs.)

Grease is one of my favorite all-time favorites, so it was great to hear "Hopelessly Devoted To You" performed by a broadway quality performer (Kristin Chenoweth).

Good episode, love the characters and its main theme but thought todays plot with the crash dummy killer was boring and dull. When it wasnt dealing with that i was digging it.

I have a feeling that Reaper and this show may both end up feeling a bit too constrained by their rather specific premises. In both cases, each episode has to necessarily deal with either returning a soul to hell or soliving a murder. When you compare it to a slightly more generalized concept like Wonderfalls had, it makes me wonder if either show will be intriguing 5 years down the road.

Mind you, I'm not comparing the two in terms of quality. I'm still really enjoying this show (best of the season so far in my book), but I'm teetering on the edge of dropping Reaper.

Someone in last week's thread mentioned they got a Tim Burton vibe from this show, and I agree but to me it's more like Tim Burton meets Jay Ward (Rocky and Bullwinkle). I loved both episodes but have to wonder if the quirkiness will get old/tired after awhile. I'm hoping not. By far, my favorite new show for the season.

I gave the pilot 10/10 but this was more like an 7.5. I didn't dig the dummy plot and while I can dig a musical I don't like the somber solos. However it still had some great visuals and dialog.
