Grindhouse Complete 2 Disc Edition- talked about on Planet Terror DVD.

Hey guys:

Just watched the special features on the Planet Terror DVD, and at the end of the 10 Minute Film School, Rodriguez mentions a complete DVD of Grindhouse that's going to come out in a few months. Take that as you will, but it's coming, kind of, straight from the horse's mouth.

I'm sure that his saying that means "something", we all know that set is coming eventually, but Rodriguez also said in an interview a while back that the Kill Bill set would be released before the Grindhouse DVDs.

Then again, maybe he meant the 2-disc set he's mentioned here, so maybe Kill Bill will indeed be released before that one.

Who knows, heh.

I'm not surprised. The fact that the trailers (except for Machete) weren't on either Death Proof or Planet Terror kinda hinted that the theatrical release would get its own release.

He also mentioned the Spy Kids Special Edition in the commentary for one of its sequels, but that has still never happened. Also no Faculty SE, and no Roadracers...

so I wouldn't hold my breath

As has been said before, this will only be worthwhile really if they can get the movie on one disc. I mean, if not, why not buy the existing versions?

This should have gone into the official Grindhouse thread BTW. This forum has more than enough Grindhouse threads already

This info was in the Grindhouse thread. But as it's to do with another release, it might be easier for people to see the topic title instead of reading through pages of another topic to find it.

QT also said he was going release a Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. How did that one turn out?

In the commentary for Planet Terror, Rodriguez mentioned that Roadracers will be out on dvd soon. His commentary was entertaining as always.

Hopefully in a new edition Rodriguez and Tarantino will do one together.

It's supposedly coming out by the end of the year.

Not quite the best example.
