Thanks ... OP ... the defective Disc 4 reports on Amazon are from 2006 and early 2007 ... no bad reports after that ... one positive report from last Aug. ... so hopefully the problem has been corrected ...

I'll probably go for this as well. I've dealt with Family Video before and they're good peeps.
I only wish the set had some of the original NBC-era content (1962-'69).

Nice deal, I ordered this back in June during the DD sale and still paid over $15 for it. I didn't have any problem with disc 4 (although the little button in the center WAS broken and the disc floating around loose). Also, the 1962 pilot episode IS included as a bonus feature.

Yeah, it's a real shocker that people wanted this.
I haven't gotten that e-mail yet, but mine is "in fulfillment" which, I'm assuming, means it's on backorder. Hope they get more of them in soon!
