Cane--"The Work of a Business Man"--10/2/07

Original Air Date: October 2, 2007

Thought this show got off to a really good start. I'm really digging Smits as the anti-hero. Plus the ratings from the premiere were fricking awesome.

Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Alex takes over as the CEO of Duque Rum, and despite protests from Frank, presents a plan for an ethanol refinery in Florida to Sen. Barnes. Miguel: Javi Mulero. Michael Bronson: Ned Vaughn. Christine Kim: Sumalee Montano. Marcos Greenberg: Marcelo Tubert. Senator Barnes: Todd Waring.

Hmm, no posts for episode #2, no thread for episode #3? Is everyone done with this already?

Anyway, I missed #3 due to thunderstorms knocking the dish out. I don't see it on itunes or CBS.com. Is there no way to legally view this?

I think Smits is the highlight of the show. I really enjoyed this episode.

Frank does look like he's wearing mascara.

Ratings have dropped every week so far. It's under 10 million which is not good for a show on CBS. I really enjoy the show so I'm hoping it build an audience.

Starting to feel more like Falcon Crest than The Sopranos. "A little less conversation, a little more action please."

I like the backstabbing and manuevering between bro and bro-in-law. Plus, getting to check out Alona Tal in a swimsuit, what's not to like?
