DVD Talk review of 'The Up Series'

I read Nick Lyons's DVD review of The Up Series at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=30622 and...

It got me thinking about the Observer Effect, which refers to changes that the act of observing will make on the phenomenon being observed. What would've happened to these people had they not be filmed? Did the films change them in any significant way?

I'm up to 21 Up right now and I'm enjoying it somewhat... I'd be interested to see a modern version, though it may end up being more of the same.
