Will I like "Demons" if I didn't like "Suspiria"?

I'm wondering if maybe I don't have an affinity for Argento, eventhough I love the concept of "Demons".

Demons was directed by Lamberto Bava and only produced by Argento. If you like silly over the top gore and oozing wounds, sword-wielding motorcyclists and indoor helicopter mania, you'll enjoy Demons.

They are two completely different movies. Comparing the two would be the equivalent of comparing an apple and a hamburger.
Suspiria is style over substance all the way and is Argento at his finest.
Demons is about 15 minutes of setup and 60 minutes of pure mayhem (the 15 minutes in the movie that completely sucks is that involving the punk rockers who are outside of the theater).
Demons 2 on the other hand is a complete piece of shit with even more footage of punk rock losers driving around Italy. Ugh.

I'm going to say that I think Deomns 2, while easily not as good as Demons, is a fun flick that shouldn't be overlooked. If you liked Demons you should still enjoy Demons 2. If nothing else the movie does have a rockin' soundtrack.

I second that emotion, I was pretty psyched to hear Bauhaus (or was it Love & Rockets? Tones on Tail? - it's been a few years) on the soundtrack. Both movies should probably be in the hardcore Eurohorror fan's collection ...
