House *Season Premiere* - "Alone" - 9/25/07
"Alone"
Spoiler:
House has to work fast to diagnose a young woman, Megan, after a building collapses on her. Due to her injuries, Megan's only form of communication is blinking. House, without a team since Foreman and Cameron quit and he fired Chase, talks through his ideas with a janitor at the hospital. As Megan's condition worsens, Cuddy puts pressure on House to hire a new team, but House defiantly ignores her, and Wilson resorts to desperate measures and hits House where he knows it will hurt. Meantime, House himself persists in diagnosing Megan, but, he realizes that the case is not what it appears.

The old crew is still on the show.....I heard Jennifer Morrison has gone blonde this season, which is actually her real hair color.

Olivia Wilde is this season's new hot doctor....or intern.

Hope they rerun this one soon, 'cause I'm watching the premiere of 'Reaper' instead.

Why haven't they moved 'House' to 8PM yet, anyway? Stupid network.

They will probably re-run this during the Holidays when all shows are in repeats. Unfortunately since this show is produced by NBC, you won't find it on FOX on Demand.

Or even better letters: USA. They replay the weekly show on Friday nights on USA. 11pm ET, IIRC.

(Just checked. As like last year, they are a week behind. You have to wait until Oct. 5th for the season premiere)

The end of the show reminded me of this story:

Mistaken Identity in Car Crash Victims

Great start to the season, especially with Dr. Buffer!

I missed Jennifer Morrison, but Lisa Edelstein was smokin'!

I liked the kidnapped guitar storyline, especially House one-upping Wilson by stealing his patient.

I think House went way TOO far here deleting Wilson's Tivo Season Pass for a Spanish soap opera.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as tuning in to a returning show you really like - and it's as good as you expected it to be. Terrific scripting as always!

Unfortunately for me my Directivo bugged out. I hope it is just another glitch of the new software and not the hard drive dying. It recorded the premier but it shows an error that there was no signal when I try to watch it. At the same time Bones recorded fine on my other Tivo.

Thanks though. I didn't know USA reran the current season.
