Anyone ever been? I am heading to NOLA in a few weeks from Thursday thru Monday and thought I would head up to Biloxi to stay at the Hard Rock for Sunday night. Is it even worth it?

I haven't been to the Hard Rock, but I have been to 2 casinos there: IP and Palace Casino. I liked it. I stayed at Palace in April '06, and given the Katrina destruction, it was quite nice. Nice laid back atmosphere. At that point, there were only 3 casinos that had reopened. I'm sure with more casinos up and running now, it should be even better.

I have a business trip down there in early November and I am staying at Isle of Capri.

Well, I will say the Hard Rock was a very nice hotel. A little on the modern side which I like (even though I live in a Victorian).

We ended up paying $89 for a King w/view.

I didnt play any table games or slots but I spent a little time in the poker room and it was a bit shady for me. Many locals who all knew each other and dealers who knew all the players. Even the poker manager and one of the players were whispering to each other at times.

My turn for a Biloxi question. I'll be flying in there next Sunday morning. Anybody know if any of the casinos have a decent sports bar w/ Sunday Ticket?
