Not nearly as good as last week's, but some laughs nonetheless. Loved Funkhauser trying to hand Larry that nasty $50 from inside his shoe, but I seem to like Larry better as the hapless victim rather than the over-aggressor (though I did like: "What could the banana possibly taste like? I don't know, maybe, like a BANANA?!?")

I loved it, even more than last week's. I cracked up when Super Dave was talking about being an orphan, and when Larry stole the flowers and the perfume. To me, this was a classic episode.

I thought this was the best of this season - just funny as hell from start to finish... Larry complaining to Marty that he never called to thank him for his condolence call! I've been at a place where someone sampled like that woman did and it drives you crazy - I loved when she was looking at fabric samples and Larry just couldn't leave... and of course, stealing the flowers was one of the funniest things I've ever seen...this was a classic IMO.

Another vote for ep. 2. This one seemed a bit forced. Parts were funny, mainly with Marty and the $50, but I found the flowers and perfume parts to be a bit ridiculous. Doesn't Larry carry any credit cards that he could've used for the flowers?
I did have a good laugh at:
Marty: "If you weren't my best friend, I would take my bare hands and pop your head off your neck."
Larry: "He's not my best friend..."

As for the houseguests, they really didn't have much to do in this episode, but I loved how Larry tossed the kids out of the way in order to bring the perfume to Cheryl. It was great how when he was talking about taking the family in, he mentioned that he really didn't like kids, so it was actually more of a sacrifice for him.

the last 2 episodes have been great. funniest pair of shows in a long while ...
Couple of thoughts:
The filthy $50 bill reminded me of the Seinfeld where George cant return a book because he used it in the bathroom. Its been 'flagged'. very similar setup.
If the hot black chick doesnt put her hair down and show some cleavage, then Larry ... please kill her off. Thats pretty much her only attributes.

I'm such a huge Curb and Seinfeld fan, and I hate to say it but something just isn't right this season, and this episode was the worst. I saw an interview where Larry said he almost hopes HBO cancels the show so he doesn't have to quit it himself. Part of me believes these episodes have been a practical joke by LD.

Does anyone know the name of the actor who played the handyman/plumber/painter or whoever that was who Larry talked to about paying for his "bathroom" time? I know I've seen that guy before and it's killing me.
btw, this was definitely the best of the new season so far.

The 1st episode wasnt the greatest, but the last 2 episodes were very funny.
What do you want? Larry curing cancer? More like Larry curing Marty's moms cancer?

I'll put last week's and this week's just slightly behind "Krazee Eyez Killah" and "Mary, Joseph, and Larry" as the best back to back episodes ever.
Larry, with such enthusiasm, quickly licking the ice cream as it dripped killed me.

This season has been pretty decent, but the stealing of the flowers and perfume was pretty out there, especially for a multimillionaire like Larry.

Just caught this eppy. At the end, instead of tossing the 'flagged' bill to the floor, I thought Larry was going to wipe it on Cheryl to mask the scent of the perfume.
