What's the most you (or someone you know) has ever won or lost in Las Vegas and/or Atlantic City?
Me? The most ever was winning 250.00 playing the slots.

sort of meaningless unless you know how much that person lost too :)
I had a friend win about $5k at the craps table once, but now how many $1000's he has lost? No one knows, he never talks about that :)

My best was leaving with $750 more than I took. I don't play for much money, though.

I won a couple of grand I think about $2,200 one time and then 1,200 and a couple of nice 800 - 500 hits :) on Slots - Video Poker mostly
I loose a lot more than I win :(
I know people who have won $12,000 on Slots. I've been playing and have seen people win over $100k on $25 slot machines. Sad thing is that when talking to them they put in close to 100K in the machine -eek-

$4,400 in A.C. on the $1.00 slots.
Of course in order to win that I had to put in $3.00 to get the max prize per spin.

Sad thing is that when talking to them they put in close to 100K in the machine -eek-There's this Louis Theroux documentary on gambling in Las Vegas and he talks to this older woman who plays the slots every day and she said she'd lost $4 million in the seven years she'd been gambling there. Yikes! He also interviewed her son and tried to get him to admit that he didn't want his mother gambling away his inheritance.

Personally, only about $300 to $400.
My dad has a friend that's a high roller in Vegas. Gets flown up to the Hard Rock before. He's told me some insane stories about this guy.
For example, they were at a roulette table (how a high roller can play roulette is beyond me). He puts down $1,000 on several numbers (less than 6, IIRC) and hit on one. Paid $35,000. Rather than pull the money, he let it ride. Guess what happens next? Yep, he doesn't hit and loses it all.

Biggest at one table game was $1200 at a $10 craps table in about an hour while black-out drunk at Atlantic City. I really only remember a minute or two of the whole table.
Biggest slot pull in a casino is this one, 132,290 pennies ($1322.90) on a $.50 bet:

Biggest slot pull in an online casino is this one, $1875.00:

I also have a Royal Flush to my credit on a $.25 poker machine that paid $1,000 but I didn't take a picture of it at the casino, although moorehed was there to witness it and subsequently hoot and holler with me.

I was up $18k at the craps table over 3 days. Unfortunately, my trip was for 6 days, leading me to walk away with just $9k. Still up though, which I can't claim to be for many other trips to Vegas.

Ditto. Same table, same black-out drunk, same outcome. I only remember yelling "Go BIG O!", the pit boss being pissed off at us (we had the table 3 deep at something like 5:30am), and being very loud while my friends egged us on.
Good times.

Lol I don't really remember the table but somehow I remember looking down into my hands and seeing two lavender ($500 each) and 3 black ($100 each) chips in my hand and wondering wtf just happened.

The only time I have ever been, I won the Luxor morning tournament which paid close to $600 I think. I gave like $150 to my GF but took the rest home with me.

I won $1500 in Vegas at the Hard Rock playing Let it Ride and Blackjack. Paid for the trip including spending money for me and the (now) wife.
Won $2200 in AC at the Claridge playing slots (peer pressure). My buddy won 33k that same weekend.
I budget $300/day if I go to AC/Vegas. Now I dont even play any table games anymore. Its all hold 'em. I hate winning $300 at hold 'em over a 4 hour period and then losing $200 at black jack in 20 minutes.

Awesome. How much did you bet for that?
I bet around $600, it was parlays on some player proposition bets and a good chunk was on a parlay of Utah + the under. Utah was killing Pittsburgh and was 1 point from the spread on the under midway through the 3rd, but called off the dogs and there was no scoring by either team the rest of the way.

$1000 on a $5 table of craps at O'Shea's. (first table of craps I'd ever played), about a year ago.
I won $700 at the other craps table, same casino, last month.
Largest winnings at blackjack was $350 on a $5 table at Coushatta casino in Louisiana.
Craps is where it's at.

I lost $750+ at craps down at Harrah's, won back $400-$500 at BJ, lost $200-$300 on roulette, broke even at 3 hours of Pai Gow, etc. While at Pai Gow a woman came from the high roller pai gow after losing a few thousand, and within the hour she hit a straight flush for a bunch of money.
They covered my hotel and etc, so it still was a worthwhile trip.

Most I've come away with on a Vegas trip was up about $400 (net after taking out hotel/food/gas expenses). For individual games I won $300 in about 4 hours at a $5 blackjack table at Excalibur, and also $300 at a 3/6 poker table at MGM Grand in about 6 hours. Video poker I think the most I've ever won on a single hand is like $100, but I don't play those very often.

I'm rarely on topic, it shouldn't be a surprise.
My biggest loss was $800+, biggest win was $1,500-$1,800. I've had bigger swings during my stays, but those are what I netted out at.

On one trip, something like $1200. The bulk of that was from placing 3rd in a Binions daily poker tournament where I won $800-something.
In one table game sitting, something like $500 playing blackjack at Barbary Coast.

In one session it was a little over a grand. I had a great dealer last year while playing blackjack at TI. I was on the edge of blackout drunk and he kept tellingme to color up.. Eventually, the fact that I had two purples and a black made it's way through the whiskey and I walked away. If it hadn't been for the change in the color of the chips I probably would have sat there and pissed it all away until I crashed.

I won first place in a blackjack tournament (about 400 players) at the Rio in Vegas back in May for $20,000. That was a fun day. Brought almost all of that home with me that weekend, only lost about $1500 of it.
Biggest loss in a weekend in Vegas was about $4500, just never really won anything, everything I played went super quick. Then it was me going to get super drunk.
