Gorillaz: D-Sides - November 6, 2007 (B-Sides & Remixes)
from gorillaz-unofficial:
D-Sides officially confirmed
The official Gorillaz fansite has confirmed here the release of the long-rumoured second Gorillaz Bside album, 'D-Sides'. Release date of the album is 5th November in the UK and 6th November in the US.
The album will comprise 2 discs, one disc of Bsides and one disc of remixes. fans.gorillaz reports that the version of Hong Kong on disc 1 is 'reworked'. This would make the track the only previously unavailable track on the collection - although 'Kids With Guns (Quiet Village Remix)' that appears on disc 2 has previously only been available as an unofficial white label, and Feel Good Inc (Stanton Warriors Remix) and Dirty Harry (Schtun Chinese New Years Remix) appear on a Gorillaz release here for the first time.
There will be a deluxe edition of the album, but no info as of yet on how this will differ from the standard release.

g-sides was entertaining. some "remixes" made the songs virtually unrecognizable. official releases are pretty much like a giant dj mix anyway, so i dig it.

I've really dug both of their studio albums (esp. Demon Days), so this will be welcome. I always like hearing b-sides, but the remixes don't really get me worked up. Thanks for the info.

Hooray! I skipped buying the singles for "Demon Days" figuring something like this would come out. The Soulwax remix of "DARE" is amazing, glad to finally be able to pick it up.
They are, of course, leaving some things off, so maybe that wasn't the best plan. Hrm. Oh well. Take what you can get, I suppose.

Amazon has this listed as Nov. 20, so there may have been a delay. I'd like to see a comprehensive list of all their songs to make sure my collection is as complete as possible, but having a pretty strong collection likes this makes it easier than having to track down the singles.

I wish this was already out. I plan on getting it as soon as it is released. I really hope there are more Gorillaz albums in the future and that it will not just be the film score to the movie...

i picked mine up at BB today for $24.99 - only one store had it in stock in my entire area.
got the deluxe edition, which has 4 buttons, a patch, and some art cards. not really worth the extra price, but cool nonetheless.
a few better prices online, but they'll only save you a buck or two tops.
