Curb Your Enthusiasm - "The Anonymous Donor" - 9/16/07

This week, the Davids and the Blacks move into a new house, and take in a new guest. Meanwhile, Larry rewrites a dry-cleaning rule; Jeff finds his reputation stained; and Larry envies Ted Danson's anonymity in Episode 52: The Anonymous Donor. Sunday at 10 pm.

Damn, the Davids move a lot! Just for curiosity's sake, does anyone know if Larry's real-life divorce from his wife Laurie will be part of the show's storyline? Will he still drive a Prius, or trade it in for a gas guzzler?

Um, i think all of season 6 was filmed before he and his wife announced their divorce.
Maybe if their is a seson 7 (who knows if that'll happen) if could be part of the storyline.

Not sure about the production timeline, but I guess it might've been completed before the divorce.

I loved this episode (nice double meaning with the episode title, btw). Much, much better than the premiere.

LD interacting with black people is always an instant hit.

One of the best episodes ever. I too just got the double meaning of the title. every story was great from the Jersey, to the wing, to the stain.

Great episode. I agree about "LD interacting with black people is always an instant hit".
I dont know if i could take a whole episode of him with the Black family though because I fear i might laugh to death.

I thought this episode was much funnier than the previous one.

So, who really spunked on the teddy bear? I would've guessed Jeff, but on his daughters bear?????

Great episode. I loved how seconds after Jeff and Larry were talking about how friendly tapping is like sex between platonic friends, Larry gives Jeff a friendly tap when he was leaving.

I also loved how he tried it w/Susie only to get punched in the sternum with her classic "WTF?!?"

Classic episode. The Blacks were put to much better use than they were last week.

I wonder if they'll have some sort of reference to Ted Danson's blackface incident from a few years ago?

Perturbed Asian Doctor from "Knocked Up" getting jacked for the Yankee shirt, and then leading the beat-down of Larry at the end. Heh.

Definitely. As I thought about it more, this was easily #1 since the fantastic last few episodes of Season 3.

I think that we should have seen another scene between Larry and Ted after Suzy went to see Ted.

I laughed at just about every line in this episode. I think it's the single best episode of the series since "The Doll."

Awesome episode, though I didn't like it as much as some of you. The black guy was hilarious.

Top five all time CYE episode! I really love the way this season is setting up.

Right now there are ONLY three reasons I still have HBO:

1. Curb Your Enthusiasm

2. To watch the last season of The Wire

3. I have a promo that gives me HBO/Cinemax free
