If the comments from the fans on that site are any indication, I'd want nothing to do with them either.

Fuck the mouse. Fuck him in his big goddamned ear. Then stick a big hunk of moldy cheese up his maggot-infested, duck-cum filled shithole and break the whiny little bitch's neck in mother fucking trap.

And make that slut Minnie watch.

How dare those assholes call my brothers-in-metal "undesirable."

Machine Head might have some grounds for a lawsuit right there.

I'm trying to think of anything particularly inflamatory from the latest Machine Head album, and I'm not coming up with much. Though there are 2 anti war songs, I wonder if they have anything to do with it.

Oh yeah, there is this, but I wouldn't call that inflamatory, considering the context:

also, here are the lyrics to the main single of thiers.
3. Aesthetics Of Hate

[Music: Flynn, Lyrics: Flynn / Duce]

You tried to spit in the eye
Of a dead man’s face
Attacked the ways of a man
Not yet in his grave
But your hate was over all too soon
Because nothing is over
And nothing’s through,
‘Til we bury you

[Chorus:]
For the love of brother
I will sing this fucking song
Aesthetics of hate,
I hope you burn in hell

The words I read on the screen
Left me fucking sick
I felt the hatred rising
You son of a bitch
You branded us pathetic for our respect
But he made us Driven,
Such deep reverence,
Far beyond the rest

[Chorus]

[Solo: Demmel, Flynn, Demmel, Flynn, Flynn & Demmel]

Long live memories
Live this freedom vicariously
Defend tenfold
His honor we’ll always uphold

For the love of brother
I will say these fucking words
No silence against ignorance
Iconoclast, I hope you burn in hell

May the hand of god strike them down

Hmmm... I used to go see Metal acts all the time at HOB in Orlando. I think the last show I watched there was Sepultura and Hatebreed a few years ago.

3. Aesthetics Of Hate

FYI for those who don't know, this song is about dimebag darrell. Apparently, there was some guy who wrote a piece in some paper called "Aesthetics of Hate" right after Dimebag got killed, saying something like "it's no wonder these things happen, just look at all these psycho metal head kids"

I happen to think it's the weakest song on the whole album, though. Too bad that's their first single :(

Um, lots of people. That's a pretty ignorant statement to make. We can't all listen to douchebag crap like Dave Matthews Band.

This was one of my favorite places to see shows since I live about 20 min away and they always played the same shows that HoB L.A. featured. I don't like having to drive up to Shittsville (L.A.) to see a show I could have seen closer to home. I fail to see how a crowd of metalheads could actually be more likely to cause a stir than a bunch of guys at a rap show. But then again, I never expect Disney to make good decisions.

Relax guys. It's the House of "Blues" in Anaheim. Should be called the "House of Anything But Blues". One of the worst venues I've ever seen a show in (and I've seen thousands of shows in hundreds of venues).

No big loss. No loss at all, actually.

i would have included dave matthews band, but i figured they'd be too big for HOB

HOB is worst venue - who cares who they ban.

Seriously, when's the last time they've had a real "blues" band play that club!?!?!?

I've been to *ONE* HOB (in Chicago) and I never wanted to go back.

Part because I'm partial to "The Metro" and mostly because the HOB people were uptight, and despite the show being "general audience" they still somehow had reserved booths/rooms...huh?

that's just weird because I live here in Orlando and to to the Downtown Disney house of blues all the time to see metal shows.... I'm more of a hair metal guy but I've seen Slayer, Anthrax, Savatage, Judas Priest, ect ect at HOB Disney

It's not called "House Of Blues" because of it's concerts' musical genres; it's called that because of it's affilation with Dan Aykroyd (owner? co-owner?), aka Elwood Blues.

The problem is that Pomona is EXTREMELY FAR from Anaheim, and not everyone knows where The Glasshouse is, and TGH is owned by Goldenvoice, who are Live Nation's competitors. That among other things. Like people who travel for shows wouldn't get word of this cancellation until the very last minute. Etc.

Which "Gangster rappers" have been billed at HOB - Anaheim? Please enlighten me, guy who made that ludicrious claim.

sorry, but to quote the great george carlin "the house of blues, it should be called "the house of lame white mother fuckers."

Also, if Disney really has a problem with this particular genere of music, why did they sign Atreyu (they're signed by Hollywood Records which is owned by disney). Hell their first album was called "Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses"

Anyways, i'm going to this show on the 23rd at sonar. Really looking forward to seeing Arch Enemy.

Pomona is not that far from Anaheim at all. Whoever put 70 miles in that article is full of shit - its only 25 miles from House of Blues to The Glass House. Now those who have to travel already to HoB and now have to travel farther to GH... that would suck. But the Glass House is an awesome venue. I've seen many shows there, and for smaller acts it remains one of my favorite venues.

I noticed HOB Orlando Downtown Disney seemed to be moving a lot of shows. Shame, it's a decent venue and I've seen some great metal shows there.

The crowd he attracts sure as fuck was "gangsta", and only a fucking ignoramus wouldn't agree.

I hear that Jordan limited edition sneaker releases attract "gangsta" crowds, I say they should be banned. Ban Jordans, ban cristal, ban Timberland boots. And ban the Oakland Raiders and their merch sales. You know, since we're banning things that "attract" gangstas. *rollseyesviolently*
