Knocked Up - Best Prices?

I'm mainly interested in the HD-DVD. Does anyone know a cheaper price then $27.99 on Amazon.

You think it will be less at Best Buy when it comes out?

I don't think I stand too much of a risk of being wrong here by saying no....
Amazon always discounts their HD and BD titles by at least 30% at all times....Best Buy mostly only discounts their HD and BD titles by $5 off of the list price, with just a few $10 off exceptions....
Knocked Up is a combo too, so it has the higher 39.99 MSRP....if Best Buy's price isn't 34.99, then it will definitely not be any better than 29.99...

Edit: I just went to their site, their price is 29.99....

Amazon was $25.15 for me after the 10% HD discount and free shipping. My shipping estimate is October 8th for a DVD that releases next week. Ouch!

I'm sure someone else will post the details but it was a promotional HD discount a few months back when you ordered a high def disc. Now I get the discount for all my orders HD-DVD/Blu-Ray.

You can always contact Amazon and see if you can get in the offer.

The best place for the SD release seems to be amazon as well

$15.xx for the 1-disc
$19.99 for the 2-disc

I don't know if I can afford this this week due to other stuff coming in October...so I'm hoping for a $10 sale at some point, but the 1 disc/2 disc thing might complicate matters.

Normally I won't go for the 2-disc because their is typically a $7ish difference, but this time since the difference is only $3, and all the reviews are calling it one of the best DVDs ever, I'm going to splurge.

I think I'll go for the 1-disc version because it has a wealth of bonus material on it, which is nice for those of us who don't want to splurge. Every dollar counts when your DVD Want List is long.

The best B&M price on the 2-disc seems to be $22.99 at Best Buy, CC, and Target. I will wait for this week's Fry's ads to see if they have it for lower.

Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely get the 2-Disc, I meant that if Knocked Up goes on sale, I'll bet only the 1-Disc version will be $10.

So what's the better exclusive for the 2-disc:

Deck of cards from Best Buy or the Behind the scenes booklet from Target?

Edit: I'm seeing if I should save this possibly for the DD sale, it comes out to around a $4 difference in price, and I can justify waiting instead of paying that much for the deck of cards and a slipcover.

I posted this in the other thread, but just in case, be careful that the 2-disc you get at Target actually has the booklet. The shelves are stickered with "Target Exclusive" but the discs they had for sale were not, and despite the insistence of the employees there, the booklet was NOT inside when I got it back home.

If anyone does find it, please let us know if the box is marked and if the book is any good.

Thanks for the suggestion! That's what I'm doing. Might have to wait a few days to get it, but for the money I'm saving, it'll be worth it.

Casting Crowns CD:The Alter & The Door $12.99
PayPal Discount: - $10.00
Mail-In rebate: - $7.00

The Amazon 10% discount on HD DVD and BD titles is only available to early adopters who qualified for it last year (and it expires at the end of this year). The discount is no longer available, sorry.
