Prison Break Season 2 Problem Disk 3 is Disk 5 :(

Hey folks,

I just bought Prison Break 2 dvd set.

There's a huge problem with this set, disk 3 has DISK 3 written on it, however, it is disk 5.

Episodes 9-12 are missing.

Can anyone confirm that their disk 3 is an actual disk 3?

Just return it & tell them the problem & you can exchange it for another copy; don’t forget to bring the receipt. It’s defective.

Just to help, my Prison Break 2 disc three is, in fact, disc 3. So maybe only your set was defective. The rest are okay.

Or...vice versa!!!

That would be even more bizarre. The discs are pressed from a master, so in the event one disc has the wrong contents, it would atleast affect a whole batch, not just one single disc ever manufactured.

Finally somebody with the same problem I have, I didn't buy the set but I rented the set from Netflix and came across disc 3 and at the time didn't realize it had disc 5 episodes on it, so I asked for a replacement and the same thing with the replacement, and its labled disc 3 but it has disc 5 episodes on it. Also not that it matters but the last two episodes on the faulty disc 3 don't play either.

It must be a problem with just one batch, because my disk 3 has the proper episodes on it.

I bought mine at Best Buy, and glancing over them didn't have a problem with the episodes, but I did not go through the entire disc in question, so hopefully all is well for me. Thanks for bringing this up.

Fox has the suckiest Q&A of all the major publishers. Anyone remember all the reports of scratches, fingerprints and wrong discs on the Alien Quad set when it was first released?

Went to B&N B&M and got a replacement, which worked.
Wasnt easy though. Manager wouldnt do it - saying online was different than B&M. Bull.

Had to call 1800 number and get them to talk to the manager. Pain in the ass.

A bit off topic, but I've bought a bunch of TV on DVD lately, and I've had to take several of them back for scratches and fingerprints on some of the discs. Weeds: S2, Muppet Show: S2, Heroes, and Ugly Betty. With Heroes, even the replacement set was plagued with the same issues. Why is this?

Back on topic: I'll be checking my Prison Break tonight.

Same problem. I bought it at Best Buy and now I've lost the receipt

I tried renting disc 3 from Netflix, and I got it in the mail today and that disc too is defective. This is ridiculous.

EDIT: I called BBY's customer service deptartment and they were able to locate my receipt number. I just went to the store and they printed me a copy of it and exchanged the DVD set. I popped disc 3 in from that set and its the correct one. I wonder if this problem is just random.
