sounds like its leaning towards barbershop 2. eh.

have any of the lightning deals so far been that great? either movie-wise or price-wise? from the few posts i've seen about it, it doesn't seem like it has.

3.99 for BOUND!? Too bad I already caved in during a deepdiscount sale...

GREAT movie that totally deserves a 16:9 transfer...

5.99 for WHMS? Hasn't this title been available for like 7-10 dollars for a long while?

Today's lightning deal will be Barbershop 2.

At least the Gold Box deals were good at first and then slowly declined to total shit. These "lightning deals" shot right out of the gate sucking hard.

The Gold Box has gone from complete season sets and good deals like the Planet of the Apes collection with the Ape head to Barbershop. WTF?!? Next thing is to have public domain dvds in the gold box. Or Master P films.

Actually, the DVD deals are not great, but the other deals are actually pretty good sometimes.

5 minutes into this 'deal' and 0% sold. It'd be great if it stayed at that percentage. :D That might let Amazon know what folks think of these lightning deals.

I think Amazon is experimenting. They probably wanted to know if "we" would buy anything. Looks like they will have to put something more substantial in the Gold Box.
