Robot Chicken: Season 2 - Release date 9/4/07

I did a search for Robot Chicken Season 2 and got nothing, so forgive me if there was a discussion already.

According to tvshowsondvd.com,

There's an entire segment missing from "Veggies for Sloth" featuring "The Archies," which explains why that episode wasn't available to purchase on iTunes. Based on the episode lengths there may be one or two small segments cut in other episodes as well.

Well that kinda sucks. I got lucky and found an early copy at my best buy last week and now I'm disappointed that they may have cut segments from an "uncensored" release.

I'm so tired of this happening. Clear the freaking rights before you even produce the episodes. I haven't purchased the DVD set and now I don't see any reason to bother. I'll stick with my unedited recorded versions.

There was early news that the Beavis & Butthead/Teen Titans skit that was cut from Season 1 was cleared for inclusion as a bonus feature on the Season 2 DVD. Anyone hear if that is still the case yet?

I wouldn't watch much of RC if it was uncensored, and it's one of my favorite TV shows, bar none......I actually find the "bleeps" to be quite amusing in the context of what they're doing. I think the show would just be too crude and over the top with the uncensored audio. The bleeping seems to make me laugh harder...much harder!

And I am an anti-censorship type of guy, from Disney to hardcore porn.

That really sucks. The Archie / Final Destination sketch was one of my favorites from that season.

Also is the Christmas episode even necessary? I think it's made up almost entirely of sketches from previous episodes and the one new sketch, with Goku saving Santa Claus, was later reused in another episode. I guess completionists would be upset if it wasn't included.
