Help trying to ID a 60's western
(hopefully this is the right forum to make this posting, if not I apologize)
I'm trying to ID this Western I only vaguely recall as a kid from the early 60's (or possibly made earlier in the 50's).
In a back room of the town saloon there was a drunken old coot who was a kind of a sage. But the price of the getting the sage advice out of him was a bottle of whiskey.
Periodically throughout the film, the bartender and/or townspeople consulted him, with a bottle.
Towards the end, there was one only bottle of whiskey left in the saloon. They took it back to him for one last bit of wisdom (presumably this is nearing the climax of the film)
Anyone recognize that?
