Target $4.88/$10 DVDs August 26 - September 1
In my local Target today I noticed the majority of the DVDs normally priced at $5.50 were on sale this week for $4.88. Included was the 2-disc version of Cast Away (mentioned in these threads before).
An interesting note that may have been covered before--the display had several 1-disc/fullscreen versions of Cast Away with a half dozen of the 2-discers behind those single disc versions. It'd be easy to pick up the wrong one if you didn't pay attention. In a similar way, I noticed half of the Fever Pitch titles had slipcovers, the others didn't.
Also, most of the DVDs normally priced at around $13 were marked down to $10. One which I took note of was a 2-disc version of Raging Bull.
Feel free to add other titles that might be exceptional deals. If nothing else, the $4.88 display is cheaper and more organized than Wal-mart's dump bin!

This seemed to be a pretty successful sale at my local Target the last time they had it. The first time around I picked up Desperado early in the week and by the end of the sale most of titles were sold out. I would like to see Target continue this trend, and if they could change up the selections every month that would be even better!

I got Daredevil and Rudy for $4.88 each. They had the Karate Kid special edition for $4.88, but being a completist I'll wait for the box set even though the other movies suck. There were a few other titles I would have picked up but they just had the Foolscreen versions.

It's already been out for a while, I just need to wait til I find it cheap. Suncoast had it for under $20 a few months ago, but I had to watch my spending then.
