Thanks, ordered 8 with the Iowa link. Too bad no Diary of a Lost Girl or Idi Amin. Good price of Buster Keaton too. Had been waiting for something like this. Wonder if this is temporary sale? Does anyone know why they are not stocking the newer MoC releases? I've been waiting patiently.

Weird. The MoC titles are showing up at $9.95 on the Iowa link (!) but when I put them in my cart they show up as $13.95. Tried it on 3 different computers, and had the same problem of all.

What is this Iowa link you guys are talking about? I clicked on the link in the OP and am getting $13.95. (still a great price, but $9.95 is even greater)

I must have tripped some kind of security thing of theirs. I have used this card multiple times with them in the past with no problem. This happen to anyone else. Never been asked this by an etailer before. I got a wierd e-mail as follows:

Hi,

Thank you very much for your order.

Due to this being a large order, can I ask you to send in a copy of your statement for the card with which the order was made, please? This is for the security and verification of the order. You can cover/blank out any other information as it is only the address that we require.

You can either fax it for my attention to +44 870 350 0925 or e-mail a scan to this address.

I look forward to hearing from you, upon which we will process the order immediately for you. Thank you very much for your co-operation.

Kind Regards

Amy

dddhouse has done this in the past for large orders from new customers. I can't remember whether yesasia also did it or not.

I'm not a new customer and compared to what I've blown on some DDD 20% sales, this is not a large order. I'm pretty sure the e-mail is legit as they had my order number. What exactly do they want? I'm always nervous about overseas transactions anyway. Something that has the card number and address on it. I've ordered from them a shitload of times. I'm in sort of a dilemma. I want to complete the order but I don't want to send any more personal info than absolutely necessary.

Yeah, not sure about that $9.99 price. I got on last night, thought, "Wow. Good price. $9.99!" I didn't do anything special, and they showed up the same price in my cart. We'll see if my order goes through: I used a voucher, and picked up seven of them for $67.65. Can't beat that!

They are showing up as their normal on sale price of $13.99 today. I'll post again if I see anymore show up for $9.99.

Currently, my order shows as "pending dispatch." (REMINDER: at least for me anyway, my orders don't show up at cd-wow.us; I have to go to cd-wow.com, their main site, for order information).

Don't be offended. I appreciated your post.
They replied to my highly paranoid e-mail that it was a random security check. I had pointed out that if they checked my address they would see that I had ordered from them numerous times. They went ahead with my order. 8 MoC for $79.60, awesome deal. I would have ordered more if they had the more recent releases. They probably got chente and cgray's orders and decided to go after them instead.

Careful, they'll send you an e-mail wanting a scan of your social security card and account limits if you do place that order. Wonder why no discount on Metropolis?

Or Faust. I have been looking for a deal on those two for some time, but no luck.

I'm kind of annoyed with myself for not checking the Iowa link before ordering a couple of days ago. I paid £6.99 for each one, which is still a good price, but works out to be over $4 more per disc than if I used the US version of the site. I could've gotten a fifth DVD and still paid less.
