Other than Indy, Wall-E and The Dark Knight, I don't really anticipate any smashes amongst that group. The Mummy 3 could do well since 1 and 2 were popular.

Disney should push Narnia up to an Easter release date instead of letting it get a strong first week and then getting slaughtered by Indy the next.

Universal is definitely looking for another summer of tax right offs (Hulk 2 and Hellboy 2.) Evan Almighty itself nearly killed any profits of Knocked Up and Bourne this summer and those 2 will do the same to The Mummy.

Huh?

I'm looking forward to all 3 of those, but don't get how Hulk 2 and Hellboy 2 will kill the profits of The Mummy. All 3 are likely to be mediocre hits, unless the hype engine gets cranking.

You are right about pushing Narnia up though. Is there something else coming out in late April?

I think The Mummy will pull a Rush Hour 3 on us next summer, too little too late unfortunately.

Definitely in there for Iron Man, Indy, Wall-E, HB2 and Dark Knight. One thing's for sure, the quality of comic book film's next yr is going to be so much better. Indy looks to have a smooth ride for at least three wks or so...

Your list is missing John Rambo, if it still comes out next summer.

I’m very worried about the Get Smart movie. I’m really getting sick of Steve Carell. Let’s hope it’s not another butchering of a great TV series turned into a feature film, i.e. Mission: Impossible, Bewitched.

I hate Fame, the TV series & the movie so I definitely won’t be checking that one out. I’ll probably check out a few of those, on DVD of course.

I'm really looking foward to Wall-E and The Dark Knight. I think that Wall-E could potentially be Pixar's best film and I've been eagerly anticipating it since it was announced. I love Christopher Nolan's work and Batman Begins was great, so there's no reason why I wouldn't like The Dark Knight. I'm fairly enthusiastic about Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, but there's always the the question of "will they be like Spider-Man 2 or will they be like Spider-Man 3?" I'll wait and see about Indiana Jones 4. I loved Raiders and the Last Crusade, but I'm not so sure Indy 4 will be as good as either. Mummy 3 probably won't be any good, but I'll see it anyway because I saw the other two.

While I generally hate going out to the movies there are some films on that list I would certainly be checking out on release day.
Iron Man - All the teaser images gave me chills
Indy IV - Might be good....or might be good enough to just make some money. Time will tell.
Hellboy 2 - Enjoyed the first movie even with a few critical flaws.
The Dark Night - All signs point to this kicking ass.
The Incredible Hulk - Has to be better than the first and I own that one.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - Loved the first two so this deserves a shot.
Wall-E - The teaser was one of the best I've ever seen.
Get Smart - Will try it if the trailers get better. Loved the series but after Evan Almighty I can see the next few Carell movies straining to find an audience.

The rest probably won't even appeal to me enough to NetFlix.

I can't believe we have to wait a year until Pineapple Express comes out. That sucks.

Next summer is going to be awesome.

FOUR (4) Apatow movies.

One in each month.

For that, I am excited.

Why on earth did they change the title of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army to HB II?! The original title was perfectly fine. The new title sounds like a brand of pencil.

I think The Incredible Hulk will be much more successful than Hulk. This will be the "fun, Hulk smash" version many fans wanted the first time around.

Given the massive business that The Passion of the Christ did, I'm sure he'll greenlight just about anything now
