DD links to Midnite Movies & MGM horror 09-11-07 releases

As of an hour ago, most of these won't show up in the search box at www.DeepDiscount.com You have to wade through the upcoming releases. The reason for the price difference among the 10 Midnite Movies Double Features is because the $10.40 ones are Fox and the others are MGM. I can't find Food Of The Gods.

Chosen Survivors/Earth Dies Screaming $10.40

House On Skull Mtn/Mephisto Waltz $10.40

Tales From the Crypt/Vault of Horror $10.40

Gorilla At Large/Mystery At Monster Island $10.40

Devils of Darkness/Witchcraft $10.40

Blueprint for Murder/Man In the Attic $10.40

The Return of Dracula/The Vampire $9.65

Phantom From 10,000 Leagues/Beast With 1,000,000 Eyes $9.65

Beast Within/The Bat People $9.65

Yongary, Monster From The Deep/Konga $9.65

The Curse/The Curse 2: The Bite $9.65

Witchfinder General $9.65

The Burning $9.65

Scarecrows $9.65

From Beyond $13.67

Return of the Living Dead $13.67

The Fly-Classic Collection $29.48

And might as well include the 9/18 release of the Roger Corman Collecton

Seem to be a little cheaper at DVD Planet with $9.72/9.95.

But what gives! These aren't pirate movies? What the heck does Fox think Midnite Movies are! Jeez, c'mon we want more swashbuckling movies! Yeah...

I'm so glad Sony lost the MM rights, and that Fox is continuing the series properly. Heck, Fox adding some of their own flicks to the mix is truly a boon!

So does anyone else remember "Chosen Survivors"? My Dad took me to see it in the theater when I was 8 or 9 and it scared the crap out of me (not literally, I hope) and I've never forgotten it. But I never saw it again -- I don't remember it ever being on TV or video.

I remember a group of people going underground as part of an experiment, a shitload of bats, and a bad elevator accident. I'll have to buy it on DVD, just to see what the hell scared me so much.

I still haven't found Food of the Gods at DeepDiscount. Amazon and Buy.com have it for $9.99. Shipping is cheaper at Buy if you're just buying one DVD.

Just received an email saying my Vincent Price gift set was shipped today...that's especially unexpected considering it's coming from DDD!

Why does DD call that the Vincent Price Gift Set Volume One, the box says Vincent Price MGM Scream Legends Collection.....

How very odd....
