Anyone play Salary Cap Fantasy Football?

I'm going to play for the first time in this upcoming season. I'm wondering since there are some obvious differences having to spend $100 bucks on players as opposed to drafting, is LaDanian Tomlinson worth the $30.66 his price is?? Thats over 30% of the cap with 8 more players to go. Even with some steals like Calvin Johnson being only $4.57 I'm penny pinching when I get to picking my kicker and defense.

I do, although it is a dynasty format (you can keep up to 8 players per year and when you acquire a player in the main auction, they are under a 3-year contract).

Yes, I would say LT is worth that even in a 1-year league. Just to compare, I spent $61 (out of a $200 16-18 player/team cap) 2 years ago on him. Well worth every penny, and I'd say last year, that would make him a bargain.

Yeah - don't spend any more than the minimum on a kicker and not much more than that on a defense or tight end (outside of the studs) for that matter.

Also, if you spend that much on LT, you better make sure you grab Michael Turner too as insurance.
