I'm fed up with Comcast cable and after years of loyalty which means nothing to them I'm finally ready to take the plunge to satellite tv.
Are there any deals or specials for new customers? I'm also interested in theNFL Sunday ticket package (Super fan) and a high def dvr if they have that available.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
TIA.

You should add a question mark to your thread title.
I was thinking that you already knew of a good deal.

Call them up. I doubt you can get any Sunday Ticket deals for being a new customer. However, IIRC, they are offering a promotion where when you order it, you get their best package (all HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc..). You might be able to get good deals on hardware. Usually the best deals are for existing customers out of contract, considering switching to another company.

Here are two $50 gift card for Dish Network. Good for free activation, $49.99 credit on your 1st bill, and free DVR receiver upgrade.
There typically aren't any deals on Sunday Ticket itself. Maybe something like $20 off. However, they do run a special of 3-4 months free of the 'Premier" package if you sign up for ST, which is a great deal. Not sure if that's running at the moment. I got in on a special for $20/month last year - don't think it's much of a "deal", but it's much more budget friendly in terms of payment options.
A lot of people report getting SuperFan for free, but I doubt they'd do that for a new customer. I just got a free HD-DVR, but again, not sure if new customers typically get that.

CDN099085041 0224556Uh, the OP wants Sunday Ticket. They're smart enough to know that DirecTV is the only service that offers the NFL package... why are you offering the OP Dish Network?
Those wouldn't happen to be referral codes, would they? ;)
I was able to do this recently. If you ask for retention and bitch about how expensive sunday ticket is ("and THEN I have to pay $100 to see the games in HD?!?"), they *might* be able to give you the Superfan HD package for free if you sign up for the Ticket.

I doubt a new customer will be able to get SF for free. Usually that's for existing customers that have had SF before.

Just call and ask. Talk to the retention department, if possible. Last year I got all of this for subscribing to Sunday Ticket:
$10 off per month for 12 months
$50 instant credit
Free HD package for 2 months
Free HBO for 3 months (I already was a subscriber, so they just deducted the cost from my bill)
Free Showtime for 4 months
