I've only heard the two singles off the album so far (Stronger; Can't Tell Me Nothing) but they're both pure fire. And this is coming from someone who's never been a Kanye fan before this album.

It's going up against 50 Cent's new album on Sept. 11. I have no doubt that Kanye's album will be the better artistic achievement, but I'm afraid that 50's album will be the sales leader.

See, and I haven't really liked either song. Can't Tell Me Nothing is pretty good, but Stronger is bonk. None of them are as energetic or captivating as Through the Wire, Diamonds, or Gold Digger were IMHO.

I am really excited to hear CRS though. How can that not be fire? It's also interesting to see Mos Def on two tracks. I would love if he got involved with the Good Music camp.

On the flip side T-Pain ruins songs. Wish he would just go away.

ill be getting both 50 & kanye the same day, kanye will most likely be just as good as his other 2, i mean i personally wasnt feeling late registration beaucse of the singles he put out (gold digger & heard em say were both gay imo) but the rest of the album was hott.

as for 50, get rich was bangin, massacre sucked my dick, curtis is actually looking decent. straight to the bank and ayo technology are both club bangers, amusment parts pretty gay but if the album has a few decent dre and em cuts along with a few more harder g-unit featured tracks than it will be pretty good.

Been a fan of "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and its subsequent remixes with Young Jeezy. I'm not with "Stronger" yet. Just seems too...paint-by-numbers. I'm a little surprised "Bittersweet" isn't here. I saw it on an earlier track listing for the album, but looks like it didn't make the final cut.

Looks like Kanye's guest list for the album isn't as eclectic as it was for his last effort.

should be a good one. Cant tell me nothing is very good. Im not crazy about stronger tho. In all, Kanye is one of the strongest main stream MCs out there. I imagine his song with Pharrell and Lupe being verry good.

I thought CRS was a group he formed with Lupe and Pharrel, not a song. On the "Can't tell me nothing" mixtape one of the songs is "Us Placers" and its by CRS.

The CRS track on the mixtape is great. Probably my favorite song on there besides Common's The People.

The video for "Stronger" seems to recreate a scene from Ghost in the Shell.

I didn't realize that Kanye West was an anime fan.

I saw that 50 Cent "threatened" to retire if Kanye's album outsells him. What an attention whore, maybe he's finally starting to realize that he's old news to anybody over the age of 12.

My god am I sick of these people who feel the need to bust in on every rap thread and add nothing other than an insult about the genre and/or culture. If you don't like it, then stay the hell out of these threads and go listen to Ozzy or whoever you think is so damn superior to all of these "rapper guys."

it's also funny how people who throw around insults about certain artists never say what they think IS good.. or at least NOT shitty.

even compared to Louis Armstrong I don't know if you could call Kanye West SHITTY. but then again I own a Sigue Sigue Sputnik 12" and play it sometimes when I get stuck on a really hard level of a video game. so, hey...

i'm just keepin it real

No tracks with Common? None with Rhymefest?

I'm still anxiously awaiting it...but I would have liked to see them on at least one.
