Muppet Show S2 $26.89 @ Costco (no Flash Gordon)

Any way to get the topic title to change to what it says above?

I saw the Muppets Season 2 at Costco last week, but when I tried to purchase it, they wouldn't sell it to me because the system prevented them. The price was $27.89 IIRC.

I'll take it for that price.

Guess I'll head up there in a few. I'll report back anything interesting.

Just picked up Muppet Show S2 for $26.89 at Costco. No sign of Flash Gordon.

All they had were Bart Head Simpsons S10. $29.99.

You're saying Muppets are not popular?

And I don't even recall ever seeing that thread, which just shows how noticeable it is.

Best Buy has a 2 for $40 deal if you buy both seasons. Some say it's advertised in the store (wasn't in mine), but I printed the deal from the website and they honored the price. Still wish I could find a felt case for Season 1, though.

no, i didn't mean "The Muppets" weren't popular. you just asked about a specific release at a B&M and i was just pointing out that thread is what it is for. i love the Muppets and didn't mean to degrade them in anyway shape or form.

Piggy was $27.89 at my Costco. No sign of Flash Gordon.

All they had were Bart Head Simpsons s10. I think it was $31.99.

No Flash gordon in mine either and Muppets Season 2 was $26.89 but it wasn't the fuzzy wuzzy version. Simpsons was $29.99 and saw both covers available. Saw many WB sets for $26.99 and Rome season 2 for $47.99.

You sure? The fuzz is very subtle compared to season 1.

Well, I fondle Miss Piggy's nose on several boxes and there was nothing that felt fuzzy. I stopped when my wife and other customers started staring at me with a strange look.

This is sort of been mentioned, but it looks like BB may be the better place to buy both of these titles.

Flash Gordon is on sale for $16.99 with an exclusive additional art card.

The Muppet Seasons are 2 for $40.

That's only if you didn't already have Season 1.

And $16.99 is still too much for Flash Gordon. I can wait for a price drop.

Well, it would be easy to get rid of season 1 for $20+(sell online, return to BB) and end up with Season 2 for $20 or less.

At least in the Denver area, the Season 2 discs definitely have the "fuzzy wuzzy" consistency at Costco. I did not realize there was an alternative....
