if you get from amazon you can get it less than what you paid at bestbuy... I ordered sea. 1-9 for $175.xx.... and it's better to get sea. 10 during DDD 20% sale....

Shipping is free if you get over $25 and you don't have tax (well, most don't).
Pretty good deal for the earlier seasons.

I'm holding out on s10, no hurry. These obviously get cheaper over time, and I've never had a problem finding a head/non head version.

First you should attempt to get it for $20 at BB by using this coupon.

So what's the early thinking on Bart head vs. regular packaging as far as rarity for season 10? Is everyone finding both styles in-store?

Also, I was at Target today and pricing was $10 higher for the head package.

Thanks a ton OP! I have been waiting for these sets to go on sale now that I have a little extra cash. Picked up Seasons 4-9 and will probably get S10 with the coupon at best buy!

Target has both Bart Head and regular version for $29.99 and you also receive a $5.00 Target gift card when purchasing either one. The gift cards are issued at checkout.

At the Target in Stafford, VA the regular box version had the on sale shelf talker proclaiming the $29.99 price. The Bart Head box version just had the regular price showing. ($39.99) A price scan did give the $29.99 reduced price for the Bart Head box.

Thanks for the heads up! When I pre-ordered this it was $32.49.....shot 'em an email requesting a $2.50 price adjustment since it already shipped and the order included a gift certificate.

Yes and Yes.

(What was that about a free Simpsons ticket though? I never saw that at Best Buy.)

Just a note, Amazon does carry the new regular box version of Season 6 and it comes with a ticket to see the Simpsons movie.

I'm pretty sure it is hit or miss. I tried to use it today for S10 and the cashier told me they weren't accepting that coupon because it was fake. Obviously it was real, but mine was taken from the above link. Good luck!

I used the $10.00 coupon earlier today at Best Buy and there was no problem whatsoever. The cashier simply scanned the coupon barcode and my final price was $19.99 plus tax! Props to bluetoast for posting the coupon link!

Simpsons Movie Cash

Sorry if this has been asked before.... but does season 10 have the movie ticket inside? I picked one up today and didn't even think about it. I got the Bart head version and there's no sticker on the outside saying it has the ticket.

The Bart-head version that I purchased (and opened) did not have the movie ticket in it. In my case, it doesn't make a difference since my local theater is AMC and this cheapo operation doesn't accept the movie tickets. I would have to drive over 60-miles round trip to use my movie cash and it ain't worth it!

I used the $10 off coupon to get S10 for $19.99 at BBY. Now that I've done this, I hereby predict one of the major retailers will have S10 for $9.99 by Christmas time. :-)

Oldchuckles, the AMC theater practically next door to me is a very nice theater (far higher quality than any of the Harkins ones nearby), so I don't consider it a cheapo operation. They just don't take any of the movie money, but it's not a big deal to me now because they charge $5 for all movies before noon (7 days a week), so as long as AMC keeps that price, it's often easier for me just to pay the $5 to go to a nearby AMC than to do a lot of work to get a DVD with a movie cash ticket where I have to drive an extra 6 miles to sit in a falling-apart Harkins theater where there are spots and tears on the screens.

Yeah, I guess everyone's situation is a little bit different. The AMC in my town charges $6.75 for matinee showings Monday - Thursday. Then on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the admission price is $4.00 for the FIRST showing only starting before 12 o'clock noon. Some of those showings start as early as 10:30 A.M.

I still think AMC is a cheapo operation for not accepting movie money coupons. Even a 2-screen mom and pop theater in the small town where my brother lives accepts movie money coupons! Why can't a huge conglomerate like AMC do likewise? Also, for an old retiree like me, every dollar counts. Instead of seeing some of these movies for free, I have to reach deep into my pockets to find some of my meager retirement money to pay for a movie which I could have used to pay for some eats.

Amen. I can't think of any reason why they don't take them, except for laziness.
They would get reimbursed if they accept them. All they have to do is endorse them and send them in, and they get fully reimbursed.
Anyone know of any other reason why they would not accept them?

I got seasons 1 through 6 with 2-day free shipping through Prime. I'll get the rest whenever they go on sale again for $19.99.
