While somewhat interesting to see the top vote-getters, there's no reason to limit yourself to this list of 200. Type in any movie & vote for it. (One of my most wanted titles, Wild, Wild Planet, only has 20 votes.)

I voted for my list of movies last year, El Condor , Rio Conchos, and one that was released since I voted, Broken Arrow ( 1950, Jimmy Stewart ) so no need to vote agian, besides they won't let me vote twice anyway.

will people PLEASE vote for midnight? This is one of the greatest screwballs comedies ever with Claudette Colbert and Don Ameche. Have NO idea why this film isn't more popular!! it's at the bottom of the list!!!!!!!
here is the IMDB link - 8.1 rating -->http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0031647/

thanks a lot to the OP PopcornTreeCt...
i didn't know about this and am glad i do now...
i have been wanting a release of 'Strange Cargo'...
so i voted 'Strange Cargo'...
i do searches for it a lot on amazon... some film companies collect those searches...
sent emails to MGM/UA... they did the VHS...
that would make my year if that came out on DVD...
how cool is TCM?...

I'll go with what most have been saying with Notorious, Rebecca and Spellbound. As far as I'm concerned they're not obtainable for most people so they might as well have never been released. Good call on whoever said The Picture of Dorian Gray. I haven't seen it but I really want to. I'd have added the African Queen but I own it on Region 2.

Save your votes for never released films, IMO.

Agreed with Kerborus. The Best Man (never released) with Henry Fonda doesn't even make the list, but Notorious (which I still see readily online on Amazon and in many stores) does? Something seems rotten in Denmark.

I do appreciate your argument, though, that never-released films deserve the nod before OOP-films.

What sucks about Rebecca is there no way a release could match or top the OOP Criterion double-disc release... and there's no way I can afford it either.
But still, my votes are for:
Rebecca
The Magnificent Ambersons
The African Queen
