DVDEmpire is selling all three films, Ran, Madadayo, and the doc. Kurosawa for only $13 or $15.55 after standard shipping. Not a bad deal considering each film is more than that seperately on Amazon.

True, but if like me, the main interest is in the Kurosawa documentary, its almost like getting the other two films for free. Ran Criterion is on my to-get-list. It is pretty hard to mess up a documentary w/a poor transfer.
