I am looking for an inexpensive wireless router. I don't want to spend more than $50. Dell recommends Netgear. The Netgear 614 is usually $40.

If anyone knows of a better price on the Netgear 614, or the basic Linksys router, please let me know.

All the Best

Yeah, that's a great offer, thanks! My old one is having problems and I was just checking ones out at Best Buy today. Guess I don't need to go back. Picked up some super cheap USB and crossover cables, as well.

Another option (if you don't want to deal with rebates) is the Netgear WGR614 from frys.com for $29 and free shipping:

I ordered one about 3 weeks ago and it was $25, but the current item appears to be a slightly newer design.

Kind of off-topic, but it's close enough that I'll ask. Does anyone know what the cheapest wireless router that has gigabit ethernet ports is?

TigerDirect has a "recertified" 614 for $17.

I went with the no rebates option from Fry's. Thanks for the help though, X.

But it's only available for in-store pick-up. It is "sold out" if you want it shipped.

In my experience, they become available for shipping every couple of days, or even sooner.

I got mine shipped, wonder if they'll do a price adjustment over the phone?

It's a pretty good router. Good range, removable antenna, plenty of features.
