The Shins in Paris... videos for fans

Thought I'd post these two videos as I hadn't seen them here.

I found them a few weeks ago on youtube. I looks like The Shins were in Paris and decided to walk around with acoustics and play a few of their songs in public.

For something that at least looks to be impromptu, the band sounds terrific, they hardly miss a note. I don't think many of the people watching realize this is probably one of the better rock bands around right now, but it's great to see The Shins win them over.

These are also worth seeing just for the escapist "Paris in Springtime" vibe.

This one's got "Gone for Good" and (one of my favorite Shins songs) "Turn On Me". Also, catch the brief cover of Love's "Alone Again Or" right at the beginning, damn they need to include that on an album...:

Here's "Turn a Square" (watch the car almost hit them), "The Past and the Pending" and an excellent version of "Australia":

Damn I love this band. Thanks for the videos. I've been hunting for some of their live shows as trade-friendly sets. Has anyone seen those around?
