Movie looks cool but these types of movies never do well at the box office. That $75MM budget seems mighty high.

for a Roland Emmerich movie that # seems like chump change.
the trailer looks slick, but the peoples and area looked way to civilized for that time period.

Looks alright. As long as it's not as stupid as Day After Tomorrow it should be decent.

Looks good. Particularly showing the different locales and cultures that long ago. Could be very interesting if done correctly.

thats what I was thinking, It looks too slick, I wish they did it more gritty and realistic and try to be as realistic as possible. I think that would be neat to see what it really was like back then. This looks like they probably took alot of liberty's in making the movie. Even though I liked some of Roland Emmerich flicks I wish someone else was directing, I think Mel Gibson would of been a good director for this, All his historical movies really make you feel like you are in that time period.

I'm torn...yes, it looks awesome and all, but I somehow doubt it will have an awesome story to back it up. It might....I'd love to see a good movie set in that time period...but these types of special effects extravaganzas often fall short in the story department.

The dumb-ness in Day After Tomorrow was distracting. And the movie was pretty flat. I think that Ian Holm's part was the only really cool part.

BC looks cool. I'd be suprised if there's much fact involved ... anywhere. I presume it'll mayybee set in a Stargate-type realm, where there's a little fact - but it's mostly bogus made-up stuff. Tho' I guess 10,000 years ago is mostly speculation anyways.

Roland Emmerich seems pretty cool. I can't say that he's out there making great movies. But he does his thing and makes enjoyable movies. I think he's up for making something like this. The trailer looks neato.

I like how some of the mammoths had chopped off tusks.

I saw some horseback riding. I didn't think the horse had been domesticated yet but maybe it had.

looks awesome! I love these types of period pieces! Apocolypto was awesome, The New World was awesome, 300 was awesome! I hear that Nomad is awesome...(haven't seen Pathfinder yet, but I hear it's not awesome). So, yeah,, i'm pretty excited.

Oh man, looks pretty cheesy to me... but like most of the director's films hopefully it'll at least be an enjoyable diversion.

It looked like they spent a lot more than $75 million.

The scenic stuff and adventure feel may be enough for the movie to be enjoyable, but the characters may be uninteresting and the rah-rah war seems tired.

Yes...things looked much better 990,000 years prior to this movie.
