I'm doing some research, and I need three episodes of Seinfeld, each with one particular type of product placement. I'm having a lot of trouble with it right now. I need a placement that is solely visual and doesn't have any audio mention in the episode. I also need a placement that is visually AND auditorily presented, but its connection to the plot must be low. Seinfeld has a lot of audio-visual placements with high plot connection, and so I'm fine there.

Any DVDTalkers able to help?!

Turn on TBS. Theres a good chance you can catch Seinfeld at least 3 times a day. That is when Everybody Loves Raymond isn't on.

Aren't there tons of episodes with cereal boxes featured prominently but not mentioned? I can't give you any specifics, but that's what leapt to my mind.

I have the first seven seasons on DVD. I guess I should have made that clear. I'd like to pinpoint episodes, though. Sadly, don't have time to watch episode after episode.

As for the cereal boxes, they are kind of visible in most episodes, but they are hard to distinguish and the type of placement I'm looking for should be easily distinguishable.

I'm thinking of the times a box is selected and used, which is definitely not every episode. Of course, that's still of minimal help because I can't name an episode.

Would any episode Newman appears in postal carrier garb but they don't refer to him as a carrier work? Product placement for the USPS, perhaps?

I just started renting the series, but have only got through the first two seasons. There were several product placements on the first two discs alone.

Yankees and Mets sometimes have their hats and uniforms featured. Also the Orioles in one episode.

Check out the episode titled "The Merv Griffen Show" (Sorry, no idea what season) but I'm pretty sure there is prominent use of a coke can in the episode.

Elaine gets Snapples out of Jerry's fridge about every other time she walks into the apartment. Also in the episode "The Doodle", Jerry figures out it is Newman who gave him fleas because he finds Chunky wrappers in his couch. Newman is frequently associated with Chunkies. Then of course there is the episode titled "The Junior Mint" where Kramer drops one into an operation patient. Also there is Drake's Coffee Cake mentioned in "The Suicide".

Come one, dude. That's off the top of my head. Do your own homework!

Wasn't there an entire episode about a Kenny Rogers Chicken opening up across from Kramer's apartment? The sign kept flashing in his window.

The Soup Nazi was a bit of product placement with unintended consequences. The guy playing the character really runs a soup restuarant and became a minor celebrity over his appearance. His business soared, but he hated customers asking him to act like the soup nazi.

And there's the Junior Mint of course.

You guys are missing his point. The product needs to be seen visually only without audible mention. If that weren't the case almost every Seinfeld episode would qualify because they constantly mention products.

The episode where Kramer test drives the car on fumes to see how far they can go may work. I don't remember a mention of the type of car.

The Pledge Drive - Snickers candy bar. I don't think they ever say snickers but I think you see a wrapper.

The Label Maker - Kramer & Newman playing Risk. I don't think they refer to it by name, just a game of global domination.

There is always a box of Cheerios in the cabinet.

Another good audible one is the Ellen "braless wonder" Mishkie. O'Henry candy bar heiress.

Yes, this is what's made it a tad bit difficult. I'm well aware of The Junior Mint, The Pez Dispenser, etc.

Jason Alexander was a spokesperson (the right word?) for Rold Gold Pretzels for a while, and there are scenes of him eating said pretzels. No audible mention of the brand. Same goes for Michael Richards and Diet Coke.
