Life on Earth ever come out on Region 1?

As far as I know it's only available in Region 2 and 4. Since I don't have a region-free player, I was wondered if Warner ever release this on Region 1. I figured since the excellent Planet Earth is selling strong (#1 on Amazon), Warner could make a profit on putting out this groundbreaking series out here for us R1 players. I used to have the old VHS but hated it since Warner started to put numbers that flashes on sceen on some scenes.

My heart skipped a beat there with the Criterion mistake!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Warner VHS release of this (I never owned it) was even the complete series. The whole thing was in 13 parts, and the VHS was just two tapes, probably just an abridged version.

I agree we need a good R1 release of this pronto!
