tvshowsondvd.com is reporting that FOX is releasing an 'Angel Complete Series' box this halloween with an MSRP around $149.99.

I made money ditching my Buffy sets for the Chosen Collection but that had an extra disk. If all this is is a repackaging, I may just avoid the hassle and keep what I've got.

Excellent, I picked up the Buffy set from Amazon when they had it for $100 and have been waiting until an Angel box set got released before I took the plunge and started watching. These are both complete blind buys for me (and easily the most I've ever spent on a blind buy), but I've heard so many great recommendations from people with similar tastes that I can't help myself. I'm really excited to start the ride.

I forgot that there was a complete set of Buffy. Now that means I'm gonna have to pick up both sets so that I can finally dive into these two shows. I just finished watching Firefly and I'm in the mood for some more Whedon.

To elaborate, the sets are so cheap as it is, that selling mine wouldn't be worth the trouble since so many used CD stores have the original digipaks ever since the slim sets came out. So I'm stuck with my digipaks on a shelf and the discs in a 48-capacity wallet.

I already have all the original separete releases, and unlike the UK Buffy Box set which had the episodes in widescreen as well as the bonus disk, the fact that this one will probably offer nothing extra except for a box, I'll pass this time.

Cool. I bought the Buffy complete set as a blind buy about a year ago, and I am just finishing up Season 4. 3 more Buffy seasons to go, then hopefully onto Angel (also a blind buy).

I got the Buffy set as a blind buy, and have yet to sit down and watch it. I'll have to get going on it (and assuming I enjoy it, pick up this set as well)!

Many people, myself included, even consider ANGEL to be the better show. Its kinda funny to as for several years ANGEL got about a million more viewers than BUFFY.

Considering I just got all of the sets for $19.99 at BB, I don't think that I will sell off/rebuy unless the packaging is really cool, or there is enough bonus materials to make it worth it.

I read the early rumor a few weeks ago, and me and a friend sold our sets for $100 each. Bring on the complete!
The box is beautiful. Glad they chose the blue skyline look. Goes great with "City of.." Will look great beside Chosen

The box looks nice, since it resembles the Season 2 DVD steel blue cloud artwork (the best looking of all 5 season sets) but it still isn't worth trading in my sets that I'd never be able to sell off anyway. Especially since all it includes is a booklet and letter. Unless they secretly snuck in something like a 16:9 modified season 1, or restored the recaps, sorry. Would be nice though.

I might have to pick this up to sit next to my buffy set I haven't watched yet.....
Are these series one's that you want to watch at the same time to avoid spoilers from one show to the other?
