Help me with a movie title?
This has probably come and gone from the theaters, but the only thing I ever saw about it was in a Costco on all the tvs
The movie was something about two kids with a box or something that ends up seeming magical, but is actually from the future. Then they open it and it seems to be asking for help. They're supposed to save the future or something.
And it even seems they drag in a famous book/real character from the past (Alice from Alice in Wonderland, or SOMEONE like that) who also had received these items 'back then'.
Any help on what this movie is/was and the title? Or am I being way too vague based on my memories of a 2 minute trailer at Costco?
And, just out of curiosity, was it a good movie or a stinker?
