Madman Stocktake Madness Sale (r4)

Austrailan etailer Madman is having another one of their $10AUD sales (approx $8.48 US).

MADMAN STOCKTAKE MADNESS EXTENDED!!!

In the interest of public safety, Madman has decided to extend our Massive Stocktake Madness Sale. That means you have until FRIDAY 29th June (and while stocks last) to snag yourself some of the Maddest bargains known to man!

From anime to arthouse, hundreds of titles have been reduced. Most DVDs are only $10!

Remember its already Wed there so this sale will really end some time on Thursday for us.

www madman com au

(for some reason dvdtalk is destroying the url)

I got some great deals when they had this sale last year.

The key is probably to wait 12-15 hours and shop while all the Aussies are asleep ;-)

Here is a link to the sale at
madman com au /actions/catalogue.do?method=browse&saleId=20&sortKey=3

link

This link should get you there. This is a much more limited selection than their 10th anniversary sale.

For about 30 minutes, the site was working perfectly for me, and I waded through all the pages of listings save the last one or two. About an hour and a half ago, new pages stopped loading and has been down ever since.

Probably a coincidence, but I see that the time frame sorta coincides with drpie's link. However, drpie's link does not appear to direct one to the madman sale! Weirdness.

Same thing happened during the 10th Anniversary sale. When, again, do Aussies sleep?

(Or is it the North Americans creating all the traffic??!!)

In general I think most of Australia is about GMT + 10 hours.
Give or take 30-60 mins..

Oops, I meant GMT + 10 hours.

Its more like 4-4:30 am (Thursday)

I use the foxclocks plugin for firefox to help keep track of things like this.

Hmmm... it seems that this would be the time for the site to be working. Unless, of course, it is the North American customers who are overloading the server, in which case I guess I"ll set my alarm for 2AM.

The only thing that interests me is Blood and Bones from the Takeshi Kitano Collection. Madman's Kitano Collection are supposed to be some of the best versions of those films.
