**New Wal-Mart 2 packs $8.63 Great titles**

I went to my store in Wisconsin and saw a bunch of 2 packs for $8.63.

The ones I remember are:

X-Men 2 2 disc (ws)/Daredevil 2 disc (ws)

Sideways (fs) / Thank You For Smoking (fs)

I, Robot (fs) / Swimfan (ws)

Theres Something About Mary (fs)/ Taxi (ws)

Hide and Seek (ws) / From Hell (ws)

One Hour Photo (ws) / Phone Booth (ws)

Dodgeball (ws) / Stuck on You (ws)

There are more, I just can't remember off hand.

Some good titles, but it's sort of strange to see FS/WS pairings.

I picked up From Hell 2-DISC Director's Limited Edition w/ Swimfan (FS/WS combo). All the From Hells I've seen at Wal-Mart and in the B&M sales in recent years have been the 1-disc edition. Deep Discount doesn't seem to carry the 2-disc (their picture mistakenly shows it but their UPC and description are for the 1-disc), nor does Amazon, and the Amazon "partners" have it for $10 and up new. So that was a great deal I think, even if Swimfan didn't come with it...ok, maybe it would have been even better if I didn't have to buy Swimfan.

The only one I would get is

One Hour Photo (ws) / Phone Booth (ws)

Overall it seems like they always a really good movie with a really bad movie or a good movie with a DVD that you already have. Very rarely have I seen some good ones.

Sideways might be watchable in FS , but i couldn't imagine watching TYFS in FS since that film was shot in 2.40:1 aspect ratio which is always butchered.

Was at Wal-Mart yesterday, and I didn't see any widescreen One Hour Photo DVDs; only fullscreen.

wal mart=ymmv forever

Never any telling. It's always company-wide to HAVE things, prices are defintive YMMV--but whether everyone ever gets displays or stock put out is an entirely different issue.

IN some ways it would be more appropriate to package these two 2-packs
in sets with one being the robot movies and one featuring the talking animal movies.

Why would they make a 2-Pack with the ws and fs versions of the same movie?

If X-Men 2 in the X-Men 2/Daredevil 2-Pack is ws, I will have to double-dip on this one. They only had fs when I got that movie.
