Just discovered XBox Live Arcade! What are your favs?

I've been playing a lot of Uno online...very fun. I also just started playing a little Hexic, although I find it impossible to beat. I have downloaded the TMNT Arcade game, Geometry Wars, and a few demos.

What are your favorite XBL Arcade games?

= J

Lots of good stuff on the XBLA, depending on what you're into.

Some of my favorites:
Geometry Wars
Catan
UNO
Castlevania
Alien Hominid
Eet's Chowdown (Marsho Madness is awesome!)
Assault Heroes
Aegis Wing (Great 4 player)
Jetpac Refueled

The five XBLA games that I play the most (and I'll probably stop playing each when I hit 200 achievement points):

1. Uno (just the 40 win achievement to go)
2. Root Beer Tapper (just the alien level and the fourth bonus round left)
3. Aegis Wing
4. Gyruss
5. Rally-X (just need the first seven rounds without dying achievement)

And on the horizon:

1. Castlevania
2. Rush'N Attack
3. Xevious
4. Galaga
5. 3-D Golf

Bejeweled 2, Zuma, Bankshot Billiards, Robotron, Geometry Wars, Castlevania (but it's very hard)

Got the demo of PoP --very nice. Likely will buy the Pac Man game next, though $10 still seems pricey to me.

Can't figure out Catan at all, though many seem to love it.

Oh, BTW : If you're starting to get into these sorts of games, look out for the Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Vol 1 disc. Unfortunately it needs to be in the drive to play it, rather than just on the HD which makes it less convienent, but it contains Texas Hold Em, Geometry Wars, Hardwood Backgamon, Outpost Kaloki, Bejewled 2 and Wik as well as a free month of Live and it retails for $19.99. I got a brand new copy (essential if you want the free month of Live) for $8 + $4 shipping on ebay. It's the best deal around!

Is it really that good? I gave up on the demo. The car handled like shit and was too easy to get turned around and lose the race.

Being an english guy who grew up with the Sinclair Spectrum i have to say that my favourite is Jetpac Refueled. I remember having the original when it came out and i loved it. The remake is a great update and playing the original on it is also fun. Ultimate were the most consistently brillaint game developers on the Sinclair and i just wish that games like Underwurlde, Knightlore, Tranz Am, Sabrewulfe, Gunfright and Attic Attac would get the remake/update treatment.

For you guys that have Jetpac Refueled, hit me up on Live sometime, as I have yet to get the multiplayer achievements, and no one plays the game anymore.
