(DEAD) Price Mistake: Pinky and the Brain Volume 2 at Best Buy

While pondering the ads this Sunday morning, I came across the Best Buy flyer - Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain Volumes 3 for $29.99 on Tuesday - any previous seasons save $15 instantly.

Well Best Buy's website - it has Pinky and the Brain Volume 2 for $7.50 (no other purchase required). I think the regular price was $22.99 (with the $15 off it would have brought it down to $7.99 - is that correct?) Now with the web site showing $7.50 - take advantage now!

Happy Father's Day to all fathers on DVDTalk.com

P.S. This will be my first father's day with my twin girls!!!

I think that's Volume 1, actually. There's two listings for Volume 2, and the one that's $7.50 is showing the Volume 1 picture, not Volume 2...

??? Confused!

Good deal though, if it works, I just picked up Vol 1 & 2 of Pinky and the Brain and of Animaniacs for $19.99 each, otherwise I'd try this out

Good catch Sabrett! I followed the SKU 7875935 and it does show the photo for the 1st volume - but the 7875935 is for Vol 2 - anyways - like you said - good deal if it works - I ordered it online.

This is the "dubbed" version. Not sure what exactly this means, but the non-dubbed version is regular priced at 22.99.

Actually, I believe the $22.99 reflects the $15 savings. I could be wrong, but when I saw the Best Buy ad thread earlier this week I checked the prices and I thought they were $37.99 which with the $15 off makes it $22.99.

Considering I just found the cached page of this listing for $37.99 obviously an error.

in that case, in addition to the one I ordered for store pick up, I just also placed an order for ups shipping... (already have both confirmation order emails - awaiting the ok to pick up at store one now)...

has anyone ever tried to pick up an obvious price mistake with the email confirmation & had problems?

In for 1 via instore pick up. They never question the price during the instore pick up procedure becuse so many people pay online with gift cards, rz points, couponns etc.

Hoped to snag a copy to flip on eBay to augment other purchases, but the volume 1 sets aren't selling for more than $15 or so it looks like. Narf! And jeez, I hate Bestbuy's shipping rates. ($1.98 shipping per dvd; going to have to try and PM at Walmart for Karate Kid dvd's or something)

I ordered it last night with in-store pickup and got a return email that "Item not found at the store."
The email gave the option of calling up and having it shipped to me for free, so I'll try that and see what happens.
