Entourage SEASON PREMIER - "Welcome to the Jungle" - 6/17/07

Episode 43: Welcome to the Jungle

Spoiler:

A behind-the-scenes documentary look at the filming of Medellin on location in Bogota, Colombia. On set, Eric and Billy clash over keeping the film on schedule and Billy develops an infatuation with Vince's beautiful Colombian co-star that becomes increasingly disruptive to the production. Meanwhile, Drama tries to angle for a part in the film, and Ari provides color commentary from his L.A. office.

If this season and the last 6 or so episodes are on different DVD sets, I shall be pissed.

Well we already got the season 3 part 1 set so a season 3 part 2 set is likely.

After the shortest summer hiatus in TV history, I'm glad it's back.

BTW: It's time to drop Debi Mazar from the credits (and from the show as well). Put Lloyd there in her place.

How many eps in this new season? Are we going to have a hiatus in the middle of this season as well, or are they finally going to show them all back to back?

I'm assuming they'll show them back to back since the reason that they split it up last season was so that Entourage could follow Sopranos. Don't quote me on that though.

I'm going to go out on the limb and take a wild guess that this season we'll see the boys go through adversity only to come out on top at the end. You heard it here first.

Good reminder with this thread. For some reason, I thought it was coming back next week. Another show to look forward to coming home to.

I dont' know about you but I wouldn't have it any other way. If you don't like the plotlines, there's always 'Five Towns' on NBC.....

So I'm guessing the timeline in the show has jumped at least 6 months since they're filming Medellin already.

Funny that the movies they "make" in Entourage look many times better than most of the Hollywood crap....Id love to see something like "Queens Blvd." or "Medellin" in theaters..

Very funny episode. Johnny Drama was money as usual. That village girl was a piece of ass. Vincent looked like Tony Clifton with his makeup on.

I was thinking the same thin when they showed they shot of the shoot out with the blood on the table and the last shot. Loved drama in that last shot as well

Can you really give that sort of billing to a character whose name is just "Mrs. Ari?"

That was awful. Please return to regular format next week.

Also, every time I saw Vince in his makeup, I thought he looked just like Kenny from Rescue Me.

Wow. Fucking brilliant episode. I always get geeked out when they show Vince's stuff and was psyched to see so much. Wasn't expecting the documentary style, but I dug it. I would've loved to have seen more episodes during the filming, but hell I'm just glad to have a new season in.

Prediction: Medellin get's a Scarface-like reception right away (bombs and get's panned, but then earns a big following). Either way... looks great to me.
