I plan on signing up for Sirius' free trial subscription when BBC Radio 1 begins it's Glastonbury coverage and try to tape some of the sets. Of the few UK festivals I've been to, I haven't been to Glastonbury - the whole camping thing for four days worth seems a tad excessive for me. I prefer Reading and V where you can get a hotel nearby and just go back and forth and chill out in a room with running water and a toilet.

I'm going. I'm getting really excited/nervous. It'll be my first time and I'm a bit nervous about the number of people and what the camping is going to be like. Going with a good group of people though so I'm sure I'll have fun.
One problem is that a lot of the bands I want to see are on the Friday.
I'm especially keen to see;
Kaiser Chiefs
Arctic Monkeys
The Coral
Modest Mouse
Super Furry Animals
The Killers
Kasabian
Might try to see comedian Bill Bailey as well.

even though she's been on the main stage before I find it interesting that Bjork will be headlining on the 'Other Stage' and NOT the Pyramid Stage this year.
any chance you could buy an official programme guide for me??

got in the 'Glasto' mood and watched the Orbital DVD which culls 16 songs from five years (1994 to 2004).
Next up, the the bonus DVD disc from 'The Killers' with three live tracks from Glastonbury 2005.

A lot of cool stuff there. Festivals like this would drive me nuts. Too many things I'd want to see, nowhere near enough time to get to them all.
