If you have an EX and he or she asks you to be on this show DON'T DO IT if
you value your current relationship.
They get you, your ex and both of your current SO's. They let the ex folks stay together and tell the current folks to bugger off. But wait, they sneak the currents back and let them spy on the ex's while the ex's are put into tempting situations.
It's like watching a trainwreck. I mean you can't stop watching, but it's like watching the locals go around stabbing the victims pinned under the train.

I dont get it.

edit:
Ok, I read the summaries on MTV.com. Basically, it's like Temptation Island X100. Everything is stacked in favor of hooking up the 2 X's . No matter what, you arent coming out of this show still in your current relationship.

Ah, it makes me think back to the 90s when they seemed to have some decent shows for couples.
Sandblast - the one with the gladiator-like obstacle course competition - way back from 1994-1996!
Singled Out - Jenny and Chris.
What was the name of that show where former couples would spill out all the dirt on their partners then try to get them to make up to go on some big trip with them?
I also miss Spyder Games and Undressed.
I don't think I have been able to watch ANYTHING on MTV since 2001.

Come on, you guys really believe that anyone on any of these reality shows is actually acting naturally? It's all a setup, and they all do what they're told, because they all want to be famous and/or paid. I suppose those folks on Springer every day are totally for real, too.

saw the sneak peek a few weeks ago... its ok but then it seems too good to be real...
i have to say, most mtv shows have to be scripted... like Next, and all the other teeny bopper shows

MTV shows are the worst for blatantly staged and scripted "reality" shows.
As for dating shows, Blind Date is pretty much the only dating show that seems more or less natural to me.

Are they even making new episodes of Blind Date anymore cause I love watching that show. I actually accidentally ended up watching this X show the other day. Pointless MTV crap that you can't turn off. It's destroying my brain and I like it.

I also really enjoyed Undressed. Hot young people in week long (not decade long) soap opera esque stories? That show was the perfect thing to watch right before going to bed. I wouldn't mind getting hold of the episodes now to watch it again.

I just hate seeing pretty young girls having their hearts broken.

Pffh, like some of them aren't stomping on some guys' hearts.
I remember this funny episode of the blame game where this girl lost the game and was supposed to beg her ex, instead, she stuck her head up high, said "NEVER!", gave him the finger, and walked away.
