Here is the link. I saw it requested in another post, thought I'd post it in it's own thread.

If anyone is able to get ANOTHER $10 off on top of the current 19.99 Fox sale at BB, please let me know, thanks!

Wow! is there anything on the back? Is the coupon suppose to be in color?

I got some good stuff already but I can go back and try a printout of this.

I have no idea, I just found it on the web, and people said BB just scans the barcode and it works pretty easily. I think it's one of those coupons BB made for printouts, I assume.

Of course, if you're going there anyway, won't hurt to try it.

Yea I gotta be in the area tomorrow. The only negative I see is the 'do not double thing'

My best buy is FULL of assholes and I hate giving them business.

Either way, thanks!

No problem. Let us know if it works. I gotta pick up Season 5 of The Shield, so if this works, it'll be great for me.

This is YMMV but so are printed out coupons in general. I got it to work at one BB but not at another because they would not accept copies. Good luck!

I want to try this but it says on the coupon that it will take 10 dollars off the regular price. It would be awesome if they would let you take 10 off of the sale price. I'm a little cautious to try and use the copy. I guess they could simply tell me they can't accept a printout of the coupon and need the original. Or they might try taking me in the back and torturing me until I tell them where I found the coupon.

More like the section on the coupon stating "No Copies" is what worries me.

I got this and 2-4 other coupons from a Free Home Theater Demo DVD they had a couple of weeks ago. The others included in the coupons were $2 off Night at the Museum, a coupon for Borat, and one for Blu-Ray discs, and one for HD-DVD, if I remember correctly.

And the coupon is in black and white, not color.

"Not good in combination with other coupons or offers."

"Discount taken at register off regular price"

"No copies"

Severe YMMV, you have to get very lucky and get just the right type of idiot. If they're too dumb, they won't know how to handle the coupon and they'll ask for a manager to help them, and the manager will almost certainly say that you can't use it.

You guys are a bunch of wusses. Every month they have video game coupons with the same restrictions that people use all the time, printed off a scan from the web, with no issues. Grow a pair people.

Worst they can do is say it's not valid or take it off full price at which point you just tell them you don't want it.

So you used one coupon and got all 3 in the same transaction for $10 each?

Or

Did you have 3 coupons and do 3 separate transactions?

just tried it but unfortunately i had the defiant best buy sales girl who had to ask every manager first before scanning the coupons, so i had no luck on that. maybe i'll try the same best buy late tonight before closing or go to another one.

I just now printed it, went to Best Buy, grabbed X-Files season 4 (the next one I needed) and handed the woman at the register the DVDs with the coupon on top. She scanned it no problem. She even said "that's a great deal" and she didn't seem like just some dumb register girl. I think she was a customer service woman or something. She had the phone headgear thing on.

$10.59 out the door. I'm wondering now if I should try another.

I had one coupon and she scanned it through 3 times. It was right before closing and it looked like the employees all wanted to take off, so maybe that's why I wasn't hassled.

OK thanks for the info. I know my register jockeys won't scan a coupon more than once, and they will probably freak if I try to use more than one coupon at a time, so I will just have to stop by BB everyday after work this week til I get the ones I want.

Tip on printing, if you have semi-gloss thin photo paper it is very similer to what the actual coupon is printed on. If you use regualr paper it might raise some questions.
Seems like a good approach. Thanks for the tip!

The girl cashier at my local Best Buy looked it over real suspiciously, went ahead and typed it in, but then called the manager over to verify it. The manager quickly vetoed the coupon, stating that the items were already on sale, so no dice. Guess the cashiers were you guys live are not quite as bright. Oh well!

"Guess the cashiers were you guys live are not quite as bright."

I think it has more to do with people not giving a rip. Most cashiers are walking automatons that rarely blink an eye as they get paid either way. They don't get paid to see if a coupon is valid or not. If it scans most cashiers take it without question.

You'll have to argue to even get it included, since it is produced by Sony. Technically this is "Fox-produced dvds" on dvd, not "Fox tv dvds."

What they count, that is.

Since, of course, Buffy and Angel are not Fox shows, but Fox made the DVDs, and Rescue Me is shown on FX (owned by Fox) but is not produced by them.
You can debate some people into it, some not.

Unlikely you could then swing an additional coupon.

This is why I dislike Best Buy.

It's THEIR OWN coupon. It says on it not good in combination with other offers, and no copies. Yet some are honoring it on top of the sale price. Which, hey, it's a great deal if you can get it. But then others won't get it - which technically is probably the right thing to have done, but is unfair considering others ARE getting the coupon off the sale price. If it's good at one, it should be good at all.

This store absolutely SUCKS when it comes to uniform and fair application of policies and practices. Just the WORST.

I used 4 copies of the coupon today to pick up:
X-Files Seasons 1&2
Millenium Season 2&3

I'm thinking baout heading back with a few more copies to get some more X-Files seasons but I'm not sure if the budget will allow me to do so. I just got ahold of some of the Dollar General/Shout dvd sets today as well.

Here in Best Buy's backyard, I scored Simpsons season 2 (only one I missed along the way) and X-Files season 5 at Eden Prairie. The cashier there honored it on just one set, so the Simpsons rang up at $9.99. On to the Richfield store for X-Files season 6 for $9.99, and THEN to BB's tiny Edina store. I was looking to complete the trifecta with X-Files season 7, but found a single copy of the Season 8 Collector's Edition for $9.99. Damn! Thank you, OP!

What I did, just to keep it simple, I opened up word and inserted one, then copied another one on the same page. At that size the cashier was able to scan them with little effort.

I was a little nervous this would not work, so I didn't bother buying more than one set for this "test run." So I brought up Prison Break S:1 and handed over the coupon, she looked it over for a few seconds, and then scanned it perfectly. Now that I've had this experience work, I'll pick up a few more sets tomorrow when I go to buy the new Animated Hellboy.

Thanks!

k i went back a second time to the same store, got my 4 box sets, got a different cashier who studied the coupons intently for about 30 seconds, and then without saying a word pointed to the part that says not to double up- i then tell her i'd pay for each one separately and she said that's fine- the coupons scanned easily and i walked out of there with House seasons 1 and 2, 24 season 5, and the shield season 5. now i'm happy :)

i'm trying to think of what else i can try and get tomorrow to fill the holes in my collection- besides the x-files box sets which i'm missing many of, i still need the simpsons seasons 1 and 2 and the OC season 3.

It is ridiculous. A few weeks back BB had a sale on an ACer 22" LCD monitor for $190. I had a RZ coupon for 12% off, which off course didn't list monitors as an acceptable item. I had heard of others online using it though, and then how some had called to complain to customer service about it and got gift cards.

So, long story short, I went in yesterday and picked up Famil Guy Volume 3 for $10 using this coupon, and paid with my $25 gift card from customer service. Going back later for volume 4. Although calling customer service on this might not work, since it's an odd coupon, and it might kill it all together. I would say just keep going back and trying different cashiers.

If I had it woulda caused a meltdown and released something radioactive instead.

I also jumped the gun, I used my color ink (which I guess is running out, never got a warning) so I said to make it black and white and it came out perfect. I should note, I didnt resize or anything either.

Went to best buy and got XFiles S1. I tried to get the Shield S5 but the damn dude wouldnt let me do different transactions with the coupon. He looked at it for about 5 secs, than scanned it. No biggie. BB is 5 mins from my house. Ill go again tomorrow. I want more X-Files and Frank Black. Hopefully itll be a breeze next time.

Another thanks to the OP! I printed out 4 of the coupons (didn't adjust the size) on some semi-gloss paper. Used a paper trimmer to cut 'em down to size.

Brought 2 sets to the cashier. He looked at the coupons and said I could only use 1 of them. I asked him if he could ring them up as 2 different transactions. He then said he'd go ahead and try to scan them... Out the door for $9.99 each.

I came right back in the store with my other 2 coupons and made sure I went to the same cashier! I need to call Best Buy and find out what Jarrod's schedule is for the rest of the week.

Go for any Simpsons S5-S8. If you only get one... oh it's hard to decide. Season 7 maybe. Although it has part two of the season finale of Season 6, "Who Shot Mr. Burns".

Futurama is a GREAT show though, one which never really jumped the shark. All 4 seasons are gold.

I really need to get to a Best Buy. This looks like an awesome deal if you can get the coupons to work. I know I need a couple seasons of King Of The Hill and That 70's Show and the first season of Dark Angel. I've always wanted to try Firefly too based on recommendations, and at that price I think I could handle a blind buy on it.

I had some luck today at my local store getting Simpsons S9 and Shield S5. I had two coupons printed, but chickened out and only presented one to the cashier. (I didn't want to draw too much scrutiny.) She glanced at it for a second and then scanned it with no problems, so I ended up getting Simpsons for $9.99 and Shield for $19.99.

I also really wanted House S2, but they were suspiciously 'out' of both seasons. I also noticed that they had moved Rescue Me out of their Fox display, even though I think it's usually filed with the rest of these titles. Has anyone had luck with Boston Legal S1 or S2?

Part of me wishes I had tried to use both coupons at the same time, but I didn't want to push my luck and get denied altogether. I think I will definitely go back later this week and pick up some more titles! (FWIW, I didn't resize the coupon from its original form and simply printed it on regular paper. It actually came out better than I expected after cutting it with a steady hand.) Thanks OP!

Wish I would have waited to purchase my Shield DVD's...

This is a great thing for trying out TV series that you are unsure about or want to try out. I bought Prison Break, Family Guy S1 and XFiles S1 for $9.99 each plus tax. I really dont know if I will like XFiles in particular but I know the SciFi geeks are rabid fans about the show and figure I only wasted ten bucks if I dont like it.

Contemplating buying some DVD's for gifts and whether to buy more seasons of Family Guy. It's tough because I dont want to end up really liking X Files and then not being able to ever get a deal like this again.

Here's another little loophole that might work:

The Family Guy Movie and the 24 Season 6 Episodes 1-4 are $10 each. Perhaps the coupon could be used on them too. Also, inside the Season 6 case, is a $10 off coupon for the actual release of S6 (the current $10 off coupon will have expired by then).

Shucks. I just read the coupon over and it said that it won't be discounted for prior purchases. At least three sets for $60 is still a pretty good deal. I'll be going back to BB later this week to see if I can score Family Guy 3 and 4.

For those of you who had your coupon denied, did you just leave the merchandise with the cashier?

I tried resizing but it kept cutting the edges when it would print. So, I just left it at the original size(which is about like you said;1/3 size). I did however take the advice as a previous post suggested and put it on a light gloss piece of photo paper and it turned out really sharp!

Just came back from Best Buy. Angel Season 5 == $9.99!

There were two cashiers, a guy and a slightly older female. The guy was already talking to an older male customer who was buying Buffy season 5. I saw him specifically point at the regular price sticker on the box and became worried that he wouldn't allow the coupon to be used against the sale price (I don't know if the customer was trying to use this coupon). So I chose the woman, and she read the coupon over thoroughly before scanning it. It worked obviously, and then she said "That's a hell of a coupon!". She must not have seen another one yet.

Also, I just printed mine out on regular computer paper (after boosting the black levels in Photoshop slightly). My final printout size was ~4"x2.5".

Success at the Best Buy in Cary NC. Bought Simpsons S9, 24 S5, and Angel S2 (have the R4 complete series and S2 isnt widescreen there) for $31.99 total. Unfortunately I forgot to use the gift card I have...oh well...I may be going back tomorrow to get American Dad V2 and maybe the other Angel sets (and sell my big box to basically get all of this for free :) ).

FWIW, I used regular paper at 65%, and cut the coupons out...gave the cashier 1 for each set. They rang up as $0.00 rather than -$10 at first, but he punched something in without me saying a word and the price was corrected.

Well, I have had moderate to very good success.

1) Dark Angel S1

Visited one Best Buy, a brand new store, and went to the counter with 3 coupons and 3 Fox sets. The cashier read the coupon and stated "it's one per customer". I said that I thought it meant one per set, so she called a manager over who said I could only use it for 1 set.

2) Shield S5 and Space Above and Beyond

This time, no issues. I was a bit skitish, as I had just been turned down 20 minutes before at the previous Best Buy. So, I only took the 2 up to the counter. The cashier rang up both coupons without really looking at the them.

Lesson learned: Take your sets to the cashier with the most piercings.

I still want Dark Angel S2, so I may try a 3rd Best Buy near home tonight.

The coupon clearly states 'Save $10 on any Fox TV-DVD in our Fox Section' It was obvious in the Best Buy I shopped which were included and which weren't included by looking for the particular section of DVD sets. Of course, the coupon also clearly says discount taken off regular price... ;)

Bought some yesterday, went about an hour ago to my local, they had a note not to accept the coupon, printed OR real, that its not valid anymore.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!! I'm going there shortly. Hopefully my store doesn't know about the note yet... I wonder why they wouldn't accept the real one though. Unless they just mean don't accept it during the current sale...

worked for me. Flirted with the service rep and she manually entered it in, after it wouldn't scan.

Yeah, I got someone to manually enter mine as well. Weird thing is, my first coupon scanned. The 2nd coupon would not...

So what does everyone think is going to happen? Since both the $19.99 sale and the $10 off coupon are legit, and not glitches or anything, will this go on through saturday? The reason I ask is that I am not going to be back to my local bestbuy until Friday. I really, really want to take part in the deal and I really hope they do not do something to make it not prompt on the sale items anymore. Any chance of that happening you think?

You would think if they wanted to stop it they would just change something in the system, not send out a memo.

Got the first seasons of Family Guy, Angel, Buffy and the Simpsons. The cashier looked at it for a moment and I told her I had 4 coupons. So she scanned each one of them, So I got all four for just over 40 bucks. May go back tomorrow to get Greg The Bunny and Maybe the second season of Buffy.

06-12-07, 06:57 PM
When you take multiple coupons in, are you just printing them out and taking the whole sheet in or are you cutting them out? I went in to get the first 3 seasons of the Shield and was only allowed to get one since I had only one coupon.

well i went back today to pick up the xfiles sets i was missing and prison break for a friend and i went to the same cashier as yesterday, but she told me that she got yelled at yesterday for using mutliple coupons and for accepting printed coupons and not the original- but she still let me get one of the sets for 10 bucks off, so i was kinda confused- if she got in trouble, why did she still let me get one of the dvd sets for $10 off? why not go all the way for me and let me get all of them with the coupons (i had printed out multiples)?

06-12-07, 07:16 PM
I don't understand the frustration. The coupon says "no copies". I for one am happy just to get one set at a time using one coupon. It's when people go in with multiple copies of a coupon (which they know says no copies on it) and try to get 10 seasons or more in one transaction that these deals dissapear. I'm not a saint or anything and I am still trying to get these copies to work one at a time, but I don't understand people getting upset about a non-legit deal not going through.

Dude - You should go back and try the flirting again. There are lots of fucking hot little girls working there. Maybe you'll get lucky and snag one who is *legal*

Not knocking your name but it sounds like you are the one who needs to go and flirt and maybe pickup someone who is "legal". :) This thread veered away from just picking up dvd sets for a bargain price.

Success at the Tri-County area store in Cincinnati. I only purchased one set since they only had one Simpsons "head" (Lisa/Season 9). I only had two cashiers to choose from, and one had a trainee, so I went with the other one. He gave it a brief once-over before scanning it, and it worked just fine. I'm going to hit another store tonight or tomorrow and try to find the Seasons 6-8 heads.

Well, I struck out once.

At the Best Buy where they only let me use one earlier, I tried again after work. Unfortunately, it was the same cashier, 5 hours later. She said that it was only good for regular prices, not during the sale.

I then hit the Best Buy by my home, and they didn't even blink before scanning it.

I am just using 1 at a time now, just to be on the safe side. Looks like my persistence at the first Best Buy has ruined it for everyone at that Best Buy.

I just got home and it worked great.

Got:

Family Guy 4
Simpsons 5
Alien Nation
Angel 1
Angel 2
Angel 3

I'm gonna try tomorrow for the rest of Angel and all of Buffy. Hey if it continues I'll try for all the X-Files, King of the Hills and Futuramas.

I love a score. Thanks OP!

Well, the coupon worked for me. I brought two coupons, and picked up Arrested Development Season 2 and 24 Season 1. The cashier studied the coupons for an uncomfortably lengthy time, but eventually scanned them.

My dad thinks it's a great deal, and is willing to go back with me to pick some other stuff, although we're going to try to avoid getting too greedy.

This was so sweet. Thanks OP. I printed 4 pages of 3 coupons thinking I could never use them. Went up with the first 2 and did separate transactions stating that the second one was for a "friend" and did not have a problem. I came back later and was a little more bold and tried it for 4 without a problem and did not even have to do separate transactions. The guy did ask where I got them from and I just said they came out of a free coupon booklet and that I was going to find more. I then came back with 6 which was all I had left and still did not have a problem. I went home and printed more since there were a few more sets I wanted and came back and got 4 more. Sweet deal.

My take:

24 S2-5
Angel S1-5
Buffy S1-7

Total out the door was $169.43.
Regular Best Buy price was $611.84.
Sale Price was 319.84.

Hard to beat this deal.

Just went to Best Buy here in Hawaii at Pearl City. I brought Family Guy 3 and 4 to the cashier and showed my coupon. The cashier didn't look at the coupon suspiciously, but she only discounted one item. I asked her if the coupon could discount both. She never really gave me a reply, just mumbled something like "Family Guy is on this coupon..." so I just said that I'll take only one of them. I'll be going back later this week to get that fourth volume. Here's hoping I don't run into the same cashier or one who'll call the manager for verification.

Pasadena, TX store wouldn't take the coupon. The cashier said she had some guy come in with 10 and he told them he got it in his email and the manager said no so they can't take any now. I did use 2 at the Baybrook BB in Webster, TX. One on House season 2 and one on the Practice that came out today. It wouldn't take it off that one so the girl put it in manually. They didn't have House season 1 when I was there or I wouldn't have even checked Pasadena. There weren't any others I really wanted and I only bought House as a gift for my younger son so that's ok. At least I got one discounted and it worked on the Practice for me.

Now I need to try to decide between the following:

Simpsons Season 5, 6 or 7
Arrested Development S1 or S2

I'm thinking Simpsons S6.

What do you guys think?

Well, so much for not being greedy. >_>

My dad, brother, and I went back, and with my dad taking them up to the cashier (so she wouldn't recognize me and think something was up), I got Family Guy Vol. 1 and The Shield: Season 1, my dad got Prison Break: Season 1, and my brother got The Simpsons: Season 1.

All in all, $60 total ($40 for my purchases) for at least $250 worth of product. I'm almost tempted to go back tomorrow. :fro:

This is my 1st post here. I went to Best Buy with the coupon. Everything I would have bought I had already. So I thought I would start collecting the Simpsons dvds. I when to Best buy the other day and it worked. I got one dvd at two different stores. The today I went back and got one more dvd at two different best buys. I saw that its said on here that there was a memo to Best Buy to stop taking the coupons. So I thought I would try again cause I won't get the chance tomorrow. So I went back to one of the Best Buys by my house and got one more dvd. So I spend $50 dollars and got me 5 dvds. I only need seasons 1-3 and season 6 and I got them all. I think I will try again on Friday and see if I can get the remainning 4 before they catch on. Oh and I printed the coupon out on reg paper and used a ruler to cut it. A couple of them scanned fine and the others had to be typed in. Its been 50-50. BUt I haven't be turnned down yet. My plan was to go up with only ONE dvd and buy it. After they ring it up and tell me the price I add, "oh yeah, I have a coupon." To which I hand it to them. So far so good.

This is a good point! Best Buy will turn in all these coupons to the Manufacturer and get reimbursed by Fox Video (provided they backup their sales with proof; which shouldn't be a problem for them).

Granted, it is only valid at Best Buy, but seeing how it is a manufacturer's coupon, not a store or company coupon, they shouldn't be losing money on this deal.

Not really. $20 for X-Files and Prison Break is ok. Buffy, Angel, Shield are $16 at Costco. Target's has some of the others under $20 either as an everyday low price or as a recurring sale price. The animated box sets are $9.99 after rebate at FYE.

Picked up Shield Season 5. Really wanted Firefly for that spectacular price, but didn't see it at two Best Buys I tried this pm, and the next closest BB other than those two is not worth the extra gas money. Oh well. I did a blind buy with buying vol 2-4 for Family Guy and American Dad S1-2 and they used the same coupon for each transaction but had to ring them up as separate transactions. I was lucky and had the same cashier as the night before.

The cashier would have to scan it each time for every season you purchased. Most of the success stories in this thread involved having a coupon for EACH season you purchase (so in your example you'd have 9 coupons, one for each season of the X-Files)

I would probably print out 4 other coupons and pick up seasons 2 and 3 of 24 to complete the set, and seasons 1 and 2 of Arrested Development to complete that set.

I don't think this is necessarily true. I know it SAYS manufacturer's coupon on it, but it doesn't mean Fox is paying. First off, the coupon is clearly created by best buy. All of the fine print is all about best buy, and even says the word "OUR" in the major text of the coupon. But most importantly, manufacturer coupons always have reimbursement information, so a business knows where to mail the coupons for reimbursement. There is no information for mailing these coupons to Fox, therefore it doesn't seem like Fox is paying...

went back again for thirds, to the same best buy- but i made sure to go first thing in the morning so there would be different people at the registers.

i printed out 7 coupons and i was getting six sets- X-Files seasons 4-7 and Simpsons seasons 1-2.

So i hand the cashier 6 coupons and the top one doesn't scan- i say to myself "oh great" so she calls over a manager and the manager says i can't use them. then i talk to the manager and give her a BS story about how i got the coupons online and that i called the website number to make sure they were ok and i asked her to try scanning a different one because my printer might have printed that one wrong. so the manager makes the cashier scan a different one and it worked! the manager then said it was ok to use- so the cashier scans 5 coupons, they all work (although she is very confused because it's way too much work for her to scan in each coupon and hit escape on the keyboard) and then she gets to the 6th coupon which was the one that didn't scan the first time- so she scans it and it doesn't work again. I asked her if she could just scan a different coupon that DID work, seeing as how they were all the same coupons and what did it matter which one you scanned- but she didnt' seem to grasp that concept- so i tried to physically show her they were the same coupons with the same barcodes, etc. but she still didn't understand and she started to argue with me saying they were different. but then i remembered i had a 7th coupon in my pocket, so i handed that one to her and said "TRY THIS ONE" and that worked. so i walked out of there with 6 more sets for $10. phew.

so far my haul is:

24 season 5
The Shield season 5
House seasons 1 and 2
X-Files Seasons 4-7
Prison Break season 1
Simpsons seasons 1-2

i might try and go back again soon or if not tomorrow morning for X-files seasons 8-9 and the OC season 3 which pretty much gives me every DVD i could ever possibly want from Fox.

I used to think that everyone's opinion was valid, and that some people will hate the things I love, and vice versa; and I used to be ok with that, but now I know the truth.

Best shows on Tv now:

Thanks, we were all completely stumped until you posted that list. Please move your tv opinions to a more appropriate thread (preferably not in the Retail forum).

You wouldn't have to pay. Just because you are in line, you don't have to buy anything. Just say, "nevermind."

Went back and picked up Angel S1, 3, 4, and 5 (bought S2 yesterday)...used a gift card so got them for just over $20 :). Tried to pick up Kitchen Confidential but either its not included on the list (even though its a FOX DVD) or she didnt actually scan the fifth coupon. It wasnt in the FOX section though, so I guess that could be it...I didnt want to fight about it because I knew she might end up reading the coupon more carefully.

Anyone who thinks that Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are two of the greatest shows needs their heads examined.
Ever watched either? More than an episode or two? Two years ago I would have agreed with you 100%, but then I found Whedon :). I also watch the majority of shows you do, so its not like we have very different taste...FWIW...

As a bargain hunter, watching all the scores of TV sets for $9.99 has really tempted me, but the problem is I already bought all the Simpsons seasons (season 9 just 6 weeks ago) for about $20 each, all the King of the Hills for $11 each (PM to Fry's), all the 24's for $15 each (FYE). Thought I was getting a good deal then. I might have to lower my TV set threshold from $20 down to $15 now.

I've seen the X-Files, but I disliked almost half the episodes. The rest of the TV series on sale... well, I've never seen any of them ever. I put on DVDs and don't flip channels. It's still tough to blind buy at $9.99 each. A couple friends told me Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel were good (I guess Angel must be different than Dark Angel).

For fun I tried to print out a coupon on my laser printer, and the coupon was so fake looking I decided it wasn't worth trying. You couldn't even read the fine print, and I don't have any high gloss paper. The deal totally depends on the cashier, and the cashiers should be wise by now.

What amazes me is that Best Buy hasn't shut the coupon down completely, but when they made the Warner 2-DVD SE 2 for $10 mistake, I think it took them until Wednesday to shut it down, so maybe this will play out the same.

I am officially broke. I hadn't planned on buying a thing this week, but TV sets for $10 a pop?! I could sell them at a used DVD store and probably make a profit. Still, I only bought what I wanted but was always to cheap to buy: X-Files: Seasons 1-6 (will stop there because I recall it getting bad around that point), and House: Season 2. Thankfully, I had no problems with them scanning multiple coupons at a time.

A big shout out to the OP for this awesome deal.

Tried two different stores on Tuesday; was completely shot down at one and was able to use one coupon at another. I had 7 coupons for the 7 sets I was looking to get, too. :(

Got 1 set each at two different Best Buys this morning, no problems at all, not even a second look at the coupon. Thanks to all for their info. :)

Worked in Glenwood Ave. store in Raleigh, NC today.
Picked up Alien Nation. The lady looked at the coupon and the set very intently and then scanned it. I had just printed it out on a black and white laser printer on copy paper.

Buffy is worth a blind buy, millions of fans will tell you that. I wanted to hate it, but it is extremely well-written.

I'm sure a bunch of us are using worse printers than yours, and they are working most of the time. Heck, I even hand tore mine, making it obvious that they were printed, and they were accepted with no hesitation.

And that Warner two for $10 glitch (with two bonus discs and two 300 tickets for free) went until Friday I think.

But yes, I'll be surprised if this lasts longer than today.

Denied on my fourth attempt (same store as my first attempt yesterday). Definately seemed more like the choice of the cashier (she did verify with a supervisor) then any widespread memo. Not a big deal, will just try another one by my house after work.

I'm surprised this has lasted until today, too -- was nervous when I went in. But I think they could suspect the uptick in sales has to do with the $19.99 sale price. Just a theory. Regardless, out of 4 cashiers in the Boston area BB over the past two days, no one even hesitated to accept the coupons.

I tried again today. No problem. I been trying to get all the Simpsons dvds. I been doig one coupon per store per visit. I have 6 of the 9 that are out of the dvds. M y dad is trying another store as I type this. If it works I will have to get two more. There is a third best buy near my home or kinda close that I have yet to been to. If m y dad get one I will try to get the other two I will need on Thursday. If they stop taking the coupon I will just buy the dvd for $20. Also after I printed the coupon I squezed it in my hand a little to rough it up some. Just so if doesn't look so nice just printed out. So far its been working.

Picked up two copies of 24 and two old-school Collector's Edition copies of X-Files. These are in addition to the 2 slim-line X-Files I picked up yesterday. This promotion is AWESOME! I wish I had more available cash... Might pick up a couple more. Great deal! I wonder why FOX's NYPD Blue isn't included? There are some other titles I'd pick up as well...
