Nope, was one of many things I traded/sold to fund my Wii purchase last November. No reason to keep it around with the Wii being 100% backwards compatible.

Somebody is. In the sales charts for April, they were selling slightly worse than PS3.

Do you play them using the Wii remote or did you get a Game Cube remote to go with it?

You cannot play GC games on the Wii controller with anything but a GC controller.

I play my GC games on the Wii, but use the GC for the game boy adapter.

You must have a GC controller and GC memory card to play GC games on the Wii.

I just kept my mem card, 1 Wave Bird, 1 regular controller and a set of bongos when I sold my GC.

I got rid of the GBA player too, as I had not used it once since getting a DS.

I play GC games on the Wii. I never had a GC, but I have about 6 or 7 GC games. Just the big hits like RE4, WW, and SSBM

Yes still do... first i disconnected it, but then i reconnected it to the TV... well, the Wii's controller and mem card compartment doors need to be opened/closed every time i want to play a GC game (if you're not playing GC games, the doors need to be closed, if not, the Wii looks butt ugly). Another other thing is that since i can't use the Wiimote to play GC games and the Wii is pretty much "mounted" to the stand, the Wavebird's wire is too short for me For all those reasons, i decided to to use the cube again. If there are Wii wireless controllers to play classic and GC games, then i probably gonna take down the GC again (it's not hooked via component, the Wii is).

I really don't care how my Wii looks. I'm lazy and I leave the wavebird transmitter and the memory cards in there all the time. No way I'm going to remove them every time -- that'd be a pain in the ass.

Hmm... you do realize that the Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition comes out next week, right? The additional gameplay and new controls are supposed to blow the GC version away.

My cube died shortly after I got the Wii (I suspect an overexuberant Donkey Konga player busted it during a party). But I'm so into the Wii games now, that I never play any GC games anymore. Kinda lame seeing as I have about 15 or so games that I never even OPENED for the GC!

I kept my GameCube even though I can play Cube games on the Wii. I installed a region switch on it and I do have a couple of import games that I may want to play again at some point. Plus, it'll probably be a good console to hook up to a secondary TV once I get a house or something.. or I could possible find somebody to give it to. I'd rather not just take the fifty cents GameStop would have given for a trade in, sorry.

Same here. Plus my Wii is stored behind wooden doors in my entertainment center, so its only seen when in use anyway.

I got $50 for it last fall to put toward the Wii. They had some good deals back then. Consoles were +$20, every 3 games was an extra $10. Made a good way to get rid of some old shit I wasn't able to sell online for a decent price. But they're not paying shit for it now since so many stores are selling them new for as cheap as $50 with a game.

Worked out well for me as from online sales and these trade ins I ended up not paying a cent out of pocket for my Wii and Zelda.
