60%! Is Six Feet Under worth blind-buying?
I'd say yeah, cuz even if you don't like it, you can always eBay it and make most (or all) of your money back.
The first three seasons are great (though I didn't like the pilot that much). The last two seasons are more uneven and often frustrating, but the good outweighs the bad. And lots of people consider the series finale one of the best of any TV show. Plus this set includes two soundtrack CDs with some cool music.
(FYI, two of the seasons -- 1 and 3 -- got DVD Talk Collector Series ratings in this site's reviews.)
I already own the season sets so there's no reason for me to get this, but I'd say you can't go wrong if you like dark comedies, family dramas and other HBO shows.

I was able to pick this set up during the Best Buy 50% off sale, last year. I am glad I did. The packaging is awesome, and the series is a must own, in my opinion. So, if you can find the complete series at a great discount, I highly recommend it.

I just ordered this the other day from DD in their sale! Think there's any chance at getting a price match?

not that I'm advocating this... but I really just can't figure DD out. They sent me a pretty destroyed copy of From the Earth to the Moon. I emailed them, they sent me the return label... the day after getting the label in my inbox, I went to my local PO and sent it back to them. 4... 5... 6... 7... weeks go by... nothing.. they still charged my credit card... I have nothing to show for it. Not a refund, not a new set, not even an email confirmation that they are processing my return (I just wanted a swap!). Finally I call.. some dumbass says "well it takes time, we may have received your damaged set, it may be sitting in our warehouse and just not processed yet... give it another week or two" at that point I flipped, and said "bullshit, you have had my money now for more than a month and a half and I have nothing but a fabulous trip to my post-office to show for it, and you want me to give you MORE time? I want the new set, or a refund NOW". So, evidently they are sending me a new set via 2-3 day shipping, which evidently they are doing this without confirming that they got my damaged set back... which, is not really my concern, as I did send it to them... SOOOOOO.. how does this help you? well, I guess if they won't price-match you, you could always dink them for another set...... not that I'm advocating that.
