I'm also glad to see a down-to-earth drama unlike the unreality that Lucas continues to produce.

This one just sky-rocketed to one of my highly anticipated films of next year. I've got full faith in Winslet for such roles, but it'll be interesting to see how ole' Leo tackles a downshift persona instead of his full-throttle roles in Aviator, Departed, and Blood Diamond. Nonetheless, I've got high expectations for this one.
The novel itself, Wiki article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolutionary_Road), was nominated as one of the Top 100 English language books from the 20's to the present. It's from author EDIT: Richard Yates. So, the source material promises a quality story.

What's with similarly titled films in the same calendar year, though? last year we had "The Good Shepherd" and "The Good German", in 2008 we're gonna get "Revolutionary Road" and "Reservation Road"
